So where's your favorite place to have a drink? :drinking1

I can't go to Disney without enjoying a Black & Tan at Rose & Crown's.

Always liked the Territory Lounge at Artist Point, the Crew's Cup at Yachtsman, and Victoria Falls at the Animal kingdom Lodge. Would really like Mizner's at the Grand Floridian--if only they would carry some better beers.
Must add that Raglan Road looks pretty good fom all I've read so far.

Our favorite is Victoria Falls at the AKL, good bartenders, somewhat different beers, good atmosphere. We also used to love the food at the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian, but since they've changed I'm not sure we'll go back. I'll agree on the Territory Lounge as well.

Raglan Road is just eh, they don't take DDE at the moment (as far as I know, but some people have been reporting that they have) and have a poor to average beer selection, so I just go to the other pubs here in Orlando instead.

We just love Tambu Lounge. This year we had the DDE card so we loved it even more.... :rotfl:

We also hated the fact that they changed all of lounges that we visited to have the same appetizers/menus except for a specific drink at a specific resort. Flat breads with dip, etc. Not sure why Disney can never get bar appetizers right. I realize they want you to dine in their restaurants - but some of us still would like a choice.

My DW and I will be AKL in about 48 hrs so I'll need to be sure to visit Victoria Falls for a noon cocktail. :drinking:

Can you go up to California Grill without a ressie just to have a drink at the bar?

Mizers lounge, while extremly expensive ($9.oo for a cheap glass of wine) has the most relaxing atmosphere. The band playing in the atrium lobby outside, just softly fills the lounge. I just melt into those comfy chairs and relax with my drink (s).

The loounge at artist point is a close second. Not quite a "upitty", but the service is wonderfull. It's relaxing in a different way.

you used to be able too. i would suspect that since they now have the podium downstairs, it is a little more difficult. They probbably will let you up there AFTER whishes easier than someone going before.

Having a drink anywhere in WDW is a good thing!!! my favorite place is the ESPN Club when a good Football (college or pro_) game or NCCA (the tournament is great there) basketball game is own. the atmosphere is great becuase you have pretty much an equal 50-50 split in fans as opposed to watching a game in your home town where its like 90-10 in fan support! :cool1: Also would reccomend any place where fireworks are. could be anywhere in epcot to the beach bar at the poly! :wizard:

I don't believe they open until 4pm, but I could be wrong.

Even though it's not a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.....we love the River Roost
at POR when BOB JACKSON is there. Bob is absolutely the best. He involves everyone in his show. If you go to the first set at 8:30 there are a lot of families with smaller kids, but, then when he breaks about 9:45 a lot of those people tend to leave and the next two sets tend to be more adult or at least
people with older kids (our youngest is 16) And as Bob says "No one has more fun than us"!!!!! For a more relaxing atmosphere, DH and I like Territory Lounge.

Pooh Pal,

Victoria Falls doesn't open until 4 p.m. I would suggest the Uzima Springs Bar (at the pool). We always have a drink (or two) there while staying at the AKL. The bartenders make great drinks. Try a Nahtazu!

Tambu Lounge in the Poly, Outer Rim Lounge at the CR, ESPN, or Marthas Vineyard Lounge at the Beach Club (strictly for the Oreo Mintini).

And of course, Jellyrolls! :cool1:
