What's your favorite CS or TS vegetarian meal in WDW? It's been a few years since I've been to WDW, and I'm looking to try some new things. I do eat dairy and eggs, and will eat BOCA burgers, but I try to avoid gelatin.

I'll be traveling with three carnivores, one of whom doesn't like seafood, and they'd like to eat dinner at DTD one night. We'll also have a car, so we can travel easily around WDW.

TIA!

A couple of my favorites:
Artist Point:
Potato-Chive Pot Stickers - Served with edamame, spinach, mizuna, and soy vinaigrette. - $21.00
Brown Derby (MGM):
Noodle Bowl - Made with wok fried coconut tofu, soy beans, sugar snap peas, bok choy, and Shiitake mushrooms in red curry broth. - $18.00

At the Polynesian, Kona also has a wonderful noodle bowl that is described in the menu as coming with chicken or shrimp, but you can get it with only veggies. It's really yummy and full of veggies. You can also get it at Capt Cooks cheaper, lol. ;)

At Jiko, there is always a yummy veg entree.
Grains, Peas, and Vegetables - Black garbanzo peas, kamut, quinoa, pearl and black barley, and wheat berries with roasted veggies, and seared tandoori tofu. - $19.00

On the run in MK, we like to pick up the samosas in Adventureland.

OK, just a few of our faves, I'm sure there are more. We aren't strictly vegetarians by any means, but we choose meatless meals a lot of the time. (especially when they are this good!)

For CS, hop over to the Columbia Harbour House in MK. It's great. In Epcot, there's Tangierine Cafe and Sunshine Seasons. MGM has some nice-sounding things I haven't tried, but in AK there's not much right now to recommend.

TS, it's Boma, hands down. :thumbsup2 Best buffet at WDW.

I understand one of my favorites is now gone. The vegetable wrap with phyllo dough at Rose and Crown was wonderful, but I think it's no longer there.

There is a great vegetable couscous dish at Marrakesh in Morroco. YUMMO!!!

I second the recommendation for Tangerine Cafe-I love their veggie plate!

Thanks to everyone who's responded. It sounds like the variety of vegetarian options has increased since I last visited. And so much of it sounds yummy. I'm glad to hear the Columbia House's Vegetarian Chili continues to hold its own with new offerings.

I'm definitely going to try out Morroco, as I remember liking Marrakesh. We're thinking about snacking around the WS, so Tangerine Cafe sounds good. (I'd still like to do TS there, too, perhaps on another day.) I was thinking of returning to Sunshine Cafe for lunch on our Epcot/FW day, so it's good to hear it still offers a variety of options. For the Studios, The ABC Commissary seems like a good CS choice for everyone in my party combined with the Brown Derby. AK doesn't sound like it offers a lot for me, so thanks for the resort suggestions. I've never been to Artist Point, Roaring Forks, or Kona.

I've also been trying to decide between Boma and Jiko (if I have to decide, not sure yet with the schedule). Any thoughts, given that I'll be dining with two family members who are willing to experiment but tend toward the meat-and-potatoes side of the menu?

Again, thank you. I always know I can count on my DIS informants to help me out. :thumbsup2

Now I'm hoping traveling with my family & sampling Disney's offerings might just convince my family that my being a vegetarian 24/7 isn't completely crazy....;)
