What is your favorite finale of a TV series?

M*A*S*H

Favorites: Friends, The Nanny, and Sex & the City

Worst: Mad About You (though glad they ended back up together, but it was awful getting there!) and Seinfield (horrible!!) Oh, and I wasn't crazy about Ally McBeal either, but it wasn't horrible. Just not the outcome I was hoping for.

I liked the finale of Friends.

Series finale I never saw but wished I had? "Oz."

I was really dissapointed in the OZ one. I am not sure what I expected, but it wasn't that.

The Newhart ending was the best ever!

Anyone brave enough to admit they are old enough to remember St. Elsewhere? That was a really weird ending when the kid was playing w/ the snowglobe and he had made up the whole thing in his mind.

M*A*S*H was a good finale even though the show stayed on a couple of years too long. The show lasted 3 times longer than the Korean war did! It just got long in the tooth at the end but I remember what a big event it was when the final episode aired.

I loved the show Fraiser and it did a pretty good in how it ended, especially him reading the Tennyson poem, "Ulysses" on the air at the radio station. He had helped everyone find their happiness except for him and knew it was time to move on. A surprise ending when the plane landed.

I have to say that Newhart had a fantastic dream ending and was a cool way to end the series.

The show Wings also did a good job saying goodbye as well.
