Favorite TS picks for children (6 & 4)

Hi There,

We leave for WDW on September 25th for 4-days at the parks. We do have two character meals reserved already, but I need to book two more TS meals (I realize choices will be limited by now but we're okay with that).

Are there any particular restaurants that offer an especially "fun" dining experience for kids (aside from the character meals or dinner shows)?

Mine really like Coral Reef because of the dive tank. I also think just about any in Epcot are different and fun--and usually have much better food than the buffets! Have fun!

I dont think T -Rex is on the dining plan.. if thats what you are using..

Ive heard alot of positive stuff about Trails End at Fort Wilderness.. a few other good ones have been mentioned. My kids really liked Libery Tavern at that age too..The food was really good and its a 1800 setting.

I would vote for Sci-F (like a drive in w/ funny movies)i, Biergarten (dance and listen to the band), and Coral Reef (for the fish view)

On our last trip DS was 7 and DD was 4. They really enjoyed Sci-Fi, Coral Reef, Ohana (dinner) and Chef Mickey's.

SciFi my kids loved, Ohana was great and dd#1 enjoyed the coconut race, Tusker House breakfast even though its buffet the food is a very wide array and not typical of most buffets...My dd#1 really liked Kona and has requested to have her bday dinner there when we good. We all loved the food there as well.

Luckily most restaurants are great for kids at Disney! But I went last year with my kids at the exact same age as you are asking (6 & 4). They loved Ohana, Chef Mickeys, and Akershus. They also liked 50s Prime Time and Le Cellier. Kona Cafe was only ok for them and they were ok with the Wave (but the build your own sundae made their night!)

I can't comment on others but we'll be trying some new spots ourselves this September!
