We will have an extra TS (extra CS and Snack as well) with our DDP in November (Thankgiving week) trip this year because we will be arriving very late on our first day. We live just north of Atlanta and drive, so we thought we would use our extra TS for a nice "fancy" sit down breakfast on check out day before we hit the highway to head home. Normally we don't eat big breakfasts so we usually use our snack for breakfast, but we thought since we have a long drive we would get a big breakfast and one final bit of magic before we leave (normally we just check out and head on home, stopping for breakfast outside of Disney)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for your favorite TS Breakfast OUTSIDE of any of the parks (Don't have park tickets for "checkout day"). To help, my DW and DD like "fancy" and I like a REALLY GOOD buffet.

Also, maybe someone can help answer this question as well ... We drive our own car and will be parking (POFQ) and leaving it there for the duration, I HATE driving while at Disney, love the Disney transportation, anyway, if I have a parking pass for parking at POFQ and want to eat breakfast at one of the other resorts on our "check out day", can I park at another resort with my POFQ parking pass?

I like Kona at the Polynesian, although its not a buffet. We eat there on our last day every trip, the food is great.

And yes, you can use your parking pass at other resorts. Just tell the guard you are there for breakfast.

Kona is good & so is GF Cafe for a TS breakfast or Boma at AKL it is a Buffet.

I think this is a great idea-we do the same thing on the last day-big breakfast outside the parks. We've eaten at Boma, Cape May Cafe, and Yacht Club Galley (new name now). My favorite has always been Cape May Cafe. It's a character meal, but that's not why. Great food, nice atmosphere.

Boma. No question. HUGE variety, and the food was fresh and delicious. It was the best breakfast I've ever had, at WDW or anywhere else.

WOW ... lot of votes for Boma!! Sounds like I'm gonna need an ADR to get anywhere near Boma for Breakfast.

Cape May first choice then Kona, both are fantastic

The 'Ohana character breakfast was hands down the best meal of our last trip. If you don't want the characters do Kona cafe next door, just ask them to bring you over some of the pinapple bread from O'hana, OMG! it is out of this world!

Are you already having a meal at Chef Mickey's? Its got a great buffet and fantastic character meal. The "fab 5" are there (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck). Its also more expensive then Boma, so using a TS credit is good budgeting if you haven't been or aren't going. Boma should also be good as well as unique. We loved dinner there and may eat bfast there but pay OOP about $20 with tax and tip.

1900 Park Fare would also be good. You get the fancy Grand Floridian as the location, a made to order omelet station to compliment the great buffet. The characters are likely to include Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins and someone from Alice in Wonderland.

Your key words were "fancy and magic". I think these character breakfasts can give you these things.

Thanks!! Chef Mickey's does sound like a great idea, we will be making ADR's for Boma for Dinner one night but had not planned on eating at Chef Mickey's .... maybe we will do it for breakfast on that last day.

Thanks all for your Great!!! suggestions!!

It hasn't been mentioned, but my favorite non-park breakfast ever was at Boatwright's at POR. Not as well-known as the others, but they do put out a delicious breakfast.:)

We like the breakfast buffet at AKL Boma. If you want a touch of character dining Chef Mickey's for Breakfast at the Contemporary is good too.
