Favorite thing to eat at DL!!!

DH loves these and gets the on every trip. I believe you can only get it on the lunch menu, but 100% sure.

You can get the Monte Cristo at lunch or dinner at Cafe Orleans, but it's only on the lunch menu at Blue Bayou. :goodvibes

I haven't been there in a long time so I don't even know if these things things are still around.

Chicken Fuseli at Pizza Port.
Brocolli Cheese soup in a bread bowl at Pacific Wharf at DCA
Chocolate filled croissant at Blue Ribbon Bakery

I used to love the beef stew in a bread bowl at French Market but I'm pretty sure that's gone now.

It was hard to narrow it down to one "must try" food...

Food: Loaded Baked Potato Soup
Location/Rest: Carnation Cafe'
Price: around $4 for a cup; around $10 for a cup + half a sandwich
Any Description: It's so good that I got the recipe & make it at home every few weeks!

Sounds Delicious! Can you share the recipe?

I have to break my answer up into 3 replies. One for each area of DLR:

DL Park:
Food: The spicy beef skewer
Location/Rest: Bengal BBQ (across from Indy)
Price: $4
Any Description: So Yummy. Even when we eat a lunch at River Belle Terrace or from the Stagedoor, we always send one of us over to the line @ BBBQ to get a skewer.

DCA Park:
Food: The Apple Chicken Salad in Sourdough Bowl
Location/Rest: Pacific Warf Cafe
Price: ~$10-$12
Any Description: I pick out the walnuts, and get an extra dressing on the side. The best is when some of the dressing drenches the sourdough bowl. Give a tangy falvor to the bread.

DD:
Food: Anything at
Location/Rest: Ralph Brennans
Price: varies
Any Description:  this restaurant. Get something new almost every time we go and have yet to be disappointed.

Tigger Tails in Critter Country.

Dole Whip and the Churros.

Corn Dogs in the Farmer's Market (DCA.)

Turkey legs!

Boudin Sourdough bread in DCA.

My vote is the monte cristo w/ parmesan fries at Cafe Orleans. The fries are served w/ a delicious sauce to dip them in.

The recipe is around somewhere. I was so addicted to this soup, I had it almost every day on our 14 night stay :rotfl:

I googled it when I got home and printed it up. Haven't made it yet but I have been wondering if you can get that soup anywhere at WDW? Must go and ask that question actually on the restaurants forun :thumbsup2

Here's the recipe :thumbsup2

It's not so much something to eat, but it's still my favorite treat when I'm at Disneyland: a mint julep from the Mint Julep Bar in NOS. I love those so much.

On a cold day, loaded baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe on Main Street. Yumo!

Yum buckets! Had it for the first time on our last visit and I can't believe I had never had it before. I got it with the cup of soup and half a sandwich. The sandwich was good, but the soup was outstanding! I wish I had gotten a bowl of it.

I haven't been there in a long time so I don't even know if these things things are still around.

Chicken Fuseli at Pizza Port.

The Chicken Fussili is still there and it's also yummy. Be sure to ask for a side of extra sauce - it's free!

Our favorite, quick, go-to snack is the ubiquitous churro. Warm and tasty and much better than churros you get any other place.

I'm glad it's still there! Except, I actually like it with a bit less sauce (and no chicken.) :)

Clam Chowder in bread bowl
Where: walk up window near Pirates of Carribean
Cost: not sure. We get it and then sit in front of the castle, waiting for the fireworks to start. It saves our prime viewing spot, and tastes great when it is a little chilly outside.

Pommes Frites at Cafe Orleans - Sooooooooo good! And the beignets there are pretty spectacular too!

THose Beignets at Cafe Orleans! WOW, so yummy!

If you are too full after eating there, get them to go!! We ate them while standing in line for rides. WOW. They are tasty!!

Yummy! Yummy!

These are very good. We tried them for the first time last November and will be going back for more in March. It was so large we shared it between me, DH, and DS(9) shared one order.

Where are these chicken/steak nachos at? I'm making a list of restaurants with what foods they have.

I second the loaded baked potato soup vote!
Dole whip floats
Banana stuffed french toast at Storytellers
Another vote for WWS nachos
and my daughter says tigger tails!!

Also a fan of the loaded baked potato soup! Yum. I also love the lemon slushies you can get when it is warm out. Not the pre packaged lemon sorbet but the actual lemon icee drink! It's delish! I think we had 3 or 4 of them in September. Oh and the popcorn is pretty good, and the pretzel milk chocolate thing in pooh corner.

DTD: Kettle Corn - It's pretty reasonable for a bag (lg is $7 and about 2 ft long) and we love to munch on it when we are in the parks. And it's fresh and warm. Yummy!
