I am a tea drinker. Unfortunately, I am a tea drinker in the U.S. Our tea brands here are horrendous. They powder the tea, until there is absolutely no flavor left. I do like British tea.

Now, my friend Pokemon Master was kind enough to send me a link as to where to buy British tea and have it sent to me. BUT there are many brands on this site that I have never heard of. So if you could help me out and tell me what your favorite tea brand is, I would be forever grateful.

Cheers,

EG

I usually drink PG Tips for an ordinary cup of tea but I like Twinings for Earl Grey.

Another vote here for Yorkshire Tea. :yay:

The only thing i drink is tea. Yorkshire Tea i found to be very strong as well as Typhoo. I only drink Tesco tea and PG Tips if i have to.
Good luck with your search.;)

Twinings Afternoon Tea, Tetleys and Typhoo (all tea bags) are the favourites in our house, we are not keen on the loose tea blends but we also drink Tetley's Camomile Smile and Twinings Ginger and Lemon tea (bags) at WDW I'm quite fond of the Bubble Tea in EPCOT:goodvibes

I'm a Tetley girl too. Nothing else will do for me!

Sara. :)

As you know very well EG, but I just wanted to say good luck on your search. Hopefully my friends here will have helped you out.. :goodvibes

Good Luck! :thumbsup2

I am not British - but I love the Whittard teas. I usually get jasmine (I have always ordered it, Whittard doesn't have as steep a shipping fee as many other companies for England). I actually will try to visit a shop next month, I've never even passed one in London yet!

I bought Earl Grey for my stepfather from Whittard, and he said he liked it better than the Twinings that I've gotten him.

For American teas - Harney all the way for me. They are who supplies the GF tea, and I am sitting here right now with a cup of cinnamon spice that I buy by the pound!

I may try buying some Typhoo and others to bring back, I LOVE Sainsbury's and Waitrose, I think I spend more time in grocery stores in London and Paris than anywhere else. :)

Thank you all for the responses. At least now I have a clue as to what I'm looking for.

It will be worth trying s few brands as your water supply will affect the flavour. I drink one brand at my mum's but at home (130 miles away from her) it tastes horrible.

Have fun experimenting!

Libby

Ahmad Tea is the best - I love darjeeling and it is sacrilege to add milk into tea it masks all the flavour.
