What is your favorite subway sub? Mine is tuna with cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I'm really tempted to try the new Tuscan chicken sub but a little scared how it will taste? Has anyone tried it? It looks pretty good per the picture. I've never tasted the chicken at subway. It's always interesting seeing the different subs people order at subway.

I like getting the grilled chicken breast from Subway, but the fixings depends on my mood. But I generally pretty much always get grilled chicken. I tried it once on flatbread, and it was just gross, and I can't stand the wraps, so I usually get the italian herbs and cheese bread, toasted of course.

I'm not a huge fan of subway, especially their cold cuts. BUT I do like their chicken bacon ranch sub. Very tasty.

I like their Subway club on honey oat with no cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper and extra cucumbers, plus a touch of red wine vinaigrette.

Sometimes if I'm not worried about the diet, I'll get a philly cheesesteak on flatbread, toasted, with American cheese, onion, green pepper, lettuce, tomato and mayo. But that's rare.

Classic order for life: parm/oregano or plain bread - Ham, american cheese (double) - Lettuce, tomatoes, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, sometimes little bit of red onions but they leave an awful taste in my mouth afterwards.

Second Favorite: parm/oregano bread - sweet onion terriake chicken - lettuce tomatoes, red onions, oil and vinegar.

I lived off ham and cheese in high school (5$ for a footlong and a soda). Then when I started working I would get the chicken. Then I started ordering 6" of each sub to enjoy both.

It's a toss up for me, although my favorites are pretty classic:
1. Ham and American cheese with a little mayo on Italian Herb
OR
2. Meatball on Italian Herb.

I like the Meatball on Italian Herb bread.

The kids picked it out when I wanted to buy a "Footlong for the Finale" of the tv show "Chuck." My meatballs are better, but as convenience food, it's good.

I tried the Tuscan today and hated it-threw half of it awya and I never do that! The sauce was awful. The chicken was a nice texture and the picture did look great. That's why I tried it! I told my co-worker I should have just stuck with a standard sub-tuna or turkey.

First Fave is~ Turkey on honey oat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, cucumbers, lil onion, olive, s/p toasted w/ sweet onion sauce

Second~ Sweet chicken teriyaki on honey oat, lettuce, tomato, onion cheese & toasted

third~ Subway club minus the ham (so they put extra turkey & roastbeef), on honey oat, sweet onion sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumbers, olives, cheese, s/p toasted.

I like Subway!

My fav is: Black forest ham on Italian with: Lettuce, mayo, onion, tomato, American cheese and banana peppers.

Second fav is: Meatball on Italian with American Cheese, onions, and banana peppers.

I really want some Subway now...

Tuna or steak and cheese, maybe meatball, depending on the day.

but it has been a while.

The Tuscan is actually a good sandwich. I am thinking that it was probably the sauce that was put on it that made the difference to the one poster. We ordered it toasted, with double cheese... It was good.

When I get the meatball sub, I get it on the Italian Herbs and Cheese bread... double Provolone, onions and peppers... Toasted like a pizza... It's good!

do they still offer five dollar subs ???

Only a limited selection of subs are now $5.00.

The meatball sub is one of them.

But, you can't get a simple turkey and cheese sandwich for the $5.00.

I wish they would bring that promotion back!!!
DS and I could split a footlong and eat lunch for five bucks.

Yep they sure do. They also have a special promotion (limited time only) -$3.00 6 inch subs if you choose any of the following subs- cold cut, black forest ham or meatball.

My kids are picky eaters but their new love is Subway so we have been there probably 4 times in the last 2 weeks!

I absolutely love, love the Vegie delite. It's simple, crunchy and tangy with the peperoccinis and olives. Yum!

My big problem is that I asked if I could mix two $5 foot longs. So half vegie and half cold cut combo so my kids could have one half, and I could eat the vegie. Wouldn't think it's a problem, right? But they said they couldn't do it!:headache:

Might ask the manager next time as it would save me a ton!

Turkey on wheat, no cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, sweet peppers and red win vinegar. The best part of all is it is only like 5 or 6 points on Weight Watchers and it is WONDERFUL!!!

We eat quite a bit of Subway. They aren't my "fav" sub place but there really aren't sub places in Hawaii LOL.

It's a much better alternative to any other fast food for us.
