What a list of great films. Here are some of the best of the best.

I really don't have a favourite. I loved Jaws, E.T. and Schindler's List. :)

The first and the third Raiders movie. To much screaming in the second one (and that annoying kid).

I didn't even have to read the list - it's Jaws. It's still my all-time favorite movie and I doubt anything will ever top it.

I love, love, love the characters and the actors were - ah - perfect!:D Especially the late, great Robert Shaw.

Twister was a Spielberg? I never knew that.

As much as I liked Jaws, Close Encounters and Raiders, I have to go with The Color Purple.

I love the Raiders movies and Jaws. Duel is also a great older movie ::yes::. I'm not as crazy about Spielberg's more serious movies lately, but I did sort of like AI.

Blondie - is that picture at DCA?

It was taken at MGM/Disney Studios, it's the new backdrop/mural! They're not quite done though (at least I hope not!)

"E.T." is my favorite. "Catch Me If You Can" is my #2, then "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".

I really did not like most of "Saving Private Ryan". It was so predictable, and there are many WWII movies out there that are far superior. I was so glad that "Shakespeare in Love" won the Best Picture Oscar instead.

BTW, "Twister" was directed by Jan de Bont, Spielberg produced it. He also produced "Back to the Future", but that movie was directed by Robert Zemeckis. Spielberg has produced TONS of great movies and TV shows!

Cool! Something new to see on my next trip.

My all time very favorite is....

"Batteries Not Included". I love that movie. Have any of you seen it?

I voted for Jaws but there are lots of good choices on the list :D . Is Batteries Not Included about a little robot that longs to be alive?

I love his movies. My favorite movie was "It". That movie was so scary. I hope that was one of his. I think it was.:D

"It" is a Steven King movie .... and I agree .. totally scary !!!!
My favorite Spielberg movie has always been "Jaws"... I swear I think I've seen it over 30 times ! :hyper:

Raiders and the last Crusade are my favorite Spielberg films....:D

Very hard decision. I voted for Jaws... but ET is very close... though I do love Raiders....See what I mean!

Batteries Not Included is has Jessica Tandy and Hugh Cromne (sp) in it as the owners of a small restaurant in the bottom floor of a run down appartment building. There are these tiny, really cute flying saucer like aliens who eat batteries, suck electricity, etc. They have three babies and one of them doesn't make it. The big, very quiet janitor fixes the smallest baby. The creatures "fix" a lot of things in the movie. It is really a gentle story and just great. I highly recommend it.

My vote goes for Jaws. I never tire of watching it.

The Indiana Jones movies would quickly follow on my favorite list. I don't think Temple of Doom was as good as the other two.
