Favorite Spots to Grab a Drink!

Hi Guys,

My wife and I don't have kids. We are "those crazy folks who travel to Disney with no kids." We just love Disney & Universal. We spend most of our time eating, and drinking around the world. I'd love to know your favorite bars and lounges. I'll start with a few of our own in hopes you may discover something new yourself.

Crews Cup- This may be my favorite place on property. I'm partial, we were married at the YC. There's just something very welcoming. What better way to start your way around the World Showcase then by downing a few bourbons.

Tune-in Lounge- The bartenders were awesome and the sampler appetizer was fantastic. I won't harp on the lack of things to do at HS. This should be a great respite for you and yours. Décor and staff are very fun.

Jock Lindsey's- I know it's taken some heat (mainly for the "food") but I love Indiana Jones, so naturally I love JL. The atmosphere is nostalgic and the beer selection much more diverse than most. We spent an evening on the boat that faces Boathouse, and had a great time.

The Wave- This was a favorite to stop by before a trip to MK. A quick bite before heading into the park and a couple drinks to help deal with the crowds. One of the few places that had Orange Blossom Trail on tap.

I'd love to hear you opinions. We plan on trying a few next trip which is May 14th. Thanks Guys!
Sounds just like my husband and I ! No kids! Just like acting like kids. We do a lot of eating , drinking, and just enjoying the parks! Sounds like you guys would make perfect sidekicks!

We love Tune In , Top of the World Lounge(Bay Lake Tours) (we are DVC members), Trader Sams(Poly), Minzers Lounge(Grand Floridian), and the pool bar at the Grand Floridian, Territory Lounge(Wilderness lounge).

Let's see, also a person who travels without children...now...

Raglan Road, Rose and Crown, Dawa Bar, Martha's Vineyard at BC, Tune In Lounge, La Cava and...my room with my refillable mugs of free mixers with the spirits we bring with us.

Dawa Bar!!! Love that African Margarita!

There's SO MANY!
-California Grill Lounge, great for some sushi apps and a glass or two of wine while the sun sets, beautiful views!
-Trader Sam's, again, great appys, awesome service, and strong & delicious drinks! We enjoy sitting on the terrace for wishes!
-Mizner's at the GFlo, FAR better service than the Citricos bar (unless Courtney's over at Citricos! lol) though their wine selection isn't as nice. We'd usually get a couple glasses, a cheese plate, and sit out on the couches or balcony to enjoy the time.
-Davy Crockett's Tavern: at Fort Wilderness (right by the boat dock) great place to grab a moonshine inspired drink, and either watch the fireworks (though the tavern closes earlier, so you might need to stock up on drinks for wishes lol) or just grab a rocking chair & enjoy the ambiance of a COMPLETELY different feel of WDW.
-Crew Cup: Also love it over there, quick jaunt from Epcot to relax after a long day
-Harambe Market/Tusker House bar: Great place to grab a safari amber and relax to enjoy the atmosphere & music/dancing they have there!
-PORiverside lounge: On nights when Bob's playing there, it's an absolute RIOT, we've never stayed for a full evening, but he's hilarious and so much fun!!
-Epcot has a lot: my favorite drinks are: La Fin du Monde from Canada, Espresso martini from Tutto Gusto in Italy, and the Margarita's in Mexico
-Ragland Road: beer flights here are the BEST, you can mix & match to create your own 4 choices and the sizes are awesome, and they're only $10. add in some bread pudding and you're SET, DELICIOUS.

One of my other favorite memories(and a cheaper way to drink at Disney lol):
-we were walking along the boardwalk after a long day at Epcot, and they had their movie up and going over on the grass in front of the resort, so we popped into the gift shop next door, grabbed a bottle of champagne & oj, and used our souvineer cups to drink mimosas while relaxing watching the movie.
-We've also done similar at the GFlo, get some apps and maybe a glass each of wine from a lounge, and then popped into the gift shop to get a bottle to save on prices. (NOTE: this will only work if you have your own wine opener or it's a twist off! Value & moderate resorts seem to have a wine opener in the shop that they'll let you use to open it, where as when we were staying at the GFlo & asked about it, they said to call room service to have them bring one up for us....It's also highly possible a bartender at one of the lounges would open it for you, but we all had wine keys since we were servers at the time lol)

We love Tune In , Top of the World Lounge(Bay Lake Tours) (we are DVC members), Trader Sams(Poly), Minzers Lounge(Grand Floridian), and the pool bar at the Grand Floridian, Territory Lounge(Wilderness lounge).

Yes! We love the "monorail pub crawl" as we call it. We never seem to make it all the way through though.
