Favorite Spot for an Adult Beverage

I guess just a rumor. Or perhaps a secret menu like at In-N-Out.

The main problem is that commercial soft-serve/frozen yogurt machines are expensive, and if you could even get Dole soft-serve at the Disneyland Hotel, it would probably be well known. There would no way they would keep a machine around just for a secret menu item.

They did replace the Dole Whip machines in DL with higher capacity machines a while back so maybe one of the old ones ended up in TS's? (Hopefully!?!)
I think at least one also ended up at Aulani.

+1 here as a recommendation for Wine Country Trattoria, in Disney California Adventure as others have said. Their punch is to die for too - though they did have some decent wines available. Check the list if you go to see which ones you fancy :)

so can one walk around with their drinks or must you drink it where you buy it. i dont think i have ever bought a drink at DCA and im not much of a beer person but a margarita on a nice sunny day sounds awesome

Oh I forgot...if you're into beer, we had a delicious one in DCA over near the jumpin jellyfish. it was from Karl Strauss brewery and it was called Windansea Wheat. Unfortunately it's only available on tap. I tried to find it when I got home and it's not in bottles :(

I love getting a beer in DCA! Sierra Nevada at Bayside Brews, Karl Straus at the truck in Pacific Wharf, or a Racer 5 IPA at Flo's!

Is Racer 5 IPA a special beer for DCA? I know Universal Orlando has special beers just for them in WWoHP and Simpsons Land, it would be super cool of Carsland had their own brew, too!!

Not really. It's a widely distributed beer from Sonoma Valley. It's good stuff though if you like IPA.

If they could get Pliny the Elder on tap, I'd be impressed. However, I doubt they could keep it flowing if they did have it.

We like the Catal Uva bar (even though the drinks are overpriced) nice atmosphere and we can usually get a bar seat. Cove bar is too hard to get into, Trader Sams has terrible service

The wine plaza is also a favorite

If you buy a beer or margarita from any of the stands you can definitely walk around with it. Done it many times!

I'm going to inquire about the Dole whip drink at Trader Sam's for sure. I'll be there the weekend!

Oh, and the spiked pomegranate limeade at the Cozy Cones is yummy too!

Mint Julep served properly in a sterling silver mug at Le Salon Nouveau in Club 33.

Although if the weather's nice, I sometimes like to bring it downstairs to the Court of Angels, grab a seat at a table and enjoy it there. Feels like I'm in a courtyard in the real New Orleans! Plus you get the nice calming sounds of the fountain and get to watch the smiles as guests first enter the Club, often for the very first time.

I like Trader Sam's. Love that they make the Kungaloosh (either frozen or on the rocks), so I can relive a little Adventurer's Club.

Our go-to spot for adult beverages is Sonoma Terrace in DCA. It's shady, usually not too busy, and has good space for people-watching. They have bottled beers, cider and wine, plus it's within 5 minutes of the food court at Pacfic Wharf.

I just like walking around with a beer. Last time, I had one and we were going to go on Mickey's Fun Wheel. The CM stopped me to say that I couldn't bring an alcoholic beverage on. Fair enough, so we went to go sit on a bench so I could finish. My kid (who has no volume control), screamed, "You have to stop drinking Mommy!"

So that was a little embarassing.

It's the great part of DCA, you can buy a beverage and walk around with it.
