Poll coming, and remember, they only allow 12 choices, so don't shoot the messenger if your choice isn't here. ;)

Sorry for the typo... Wedding soup is the one choice.

My choice is Ham and Bean.

You've been reading the chicken soup thread too haven't you? ;) I was just thinking about soups after reading that.

No messenger shooting here but my favorite is a good homemade split pea soup. I was raised on it and to me there's nothing better.

What is Wedding Soup?

Corn Chowder!!!! :thumbsup2

Yeah, I read it! :thumbsup2

Wedding soup is a soup with tiny meatballs and spinach pieces. ( at least that is what my wife calls it when she makes it )

Mmmm clam chowder when in the US and recently at home I have taken a liking to carrot and corriander :)

Claire ;)

That is mine too. Made with a ham bone. But ham and bean is good too.

My favorite is New England Clam Chowder. Cheddar and Broccoli and French Onion are right up there too!

It was a tough decision but I voted for potato soup. Mmmmm! You're trying to make us hungry, aren't you!

DH and I just went out to lunch--we each had butternut squash bisque with our sandwiches (me, grilled cheese with tomato; DH, a flank steak sandwich). It was so good!

I just LOVE NE clam chowder. Though, my dbf's mother makes an AMAZING tortilla soup, but I had to choose one.

Salmon Chowder! If we don't have it at least a few times a month, my kids whine and complain that they are neglected! :lmao:

Love Baked Potato soup from Southern Living and corn and crab chowder!:)

In addition to the corn and crab chowder mentioned previously, I have to single out the crawfish bisque on the menu at Pappadeaux. It's luscious! :faint: I'm also going to nominate a good, hearty chili. The way I prefer it, it's more stew than soup, but it's featured as the soup of the day on many restaurant menus around these parts, so a soup it is.

I Like Broccoli cheese soup but the other day I tried at the soup kitchen in Boston Pumkin and white bean soup, oh was it to die for...I loved it :thumbsup2 As you can tell by my siggie I used to just eat pea soup, although I still love it there is more that I like better

I was in 7th heaven when we were in Seattle last month...............LOVE the Clam Chowder. Potato soup in another fav of mine with chedder cheese added to it.......YUMMY
