Favorite SNL sketch

Some of my favorite shave already been mentioned, but one that hasn't is when Norm McDonald played Bob Dole on the The Real World. . . the end where' she's dragging his chair down the street at the end was killer!
Totally forgot about that one.... add that to my list!!!

Favorites are:
The Church Lady
Dana Carvey as original George Bush..."Wouldn't be prudent"
Coffee Talk
Simon in the bathtub
Not a favorite but one that sticks in the memory:"Delta Delta Delta, can I helpya helpya helpya?""He was loving you! Totally!"

Canteen Boy!!!!

Whenever Jay Mohr did his Christopher Walken impersonation.

Mr Bill..."Ohhhh Noooooooooo". (Man, that's an old one).

"Makin' copieeees"

Happy Happy Fun Ball..."Warning, direct contact with skin can cause side effects such as projectile vomiting, explosive diahrea, and a common malady known as 'hot dog fingers'".

Lisa Lupner and Todd.

Coneheads.

Samurai WHATEVER!!

Martin Short as Ed Grimly (I must say) or as the game show host and Eddie Murphy in Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood.

Oh! And Bill Murray as the lounge singer...

Star Wars,
If they should bar wars,
Hope they leave our wars
all alone....

(or something like that!)

The Church Lady - MUST BE SAAATAAAANNN!!!

Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch as the "lov-ahs". bwahahaha

Dan Akroyd as Julia Childs.

Cheri Oteri and Will Ferrell as the cheerleaders. "Who's that Spartan in my teepee? IT'S ME! IT'S ME!"

Chris Katan and Cheri Oteri as the couple who had the halloween party, and they would do ordinary things (like bobbing for apples) that would turn sadistically sexual. LOL

I love SNL.

My favoirte recent SNL would have to be the Jeopardy Game with Will Farrell.

Wild and Crazy Guys and almost ANY SNL from that era, are also my favorite.:D

I have been an avid watcher since about 1978.. yes, I was young, but my dad would let us watch it with him.

I loved the Steve Martin/Dan Akroyd "Wild and Crazy Guys", the wardrobes were always hysterical on that one.

Jane Curtin on Weekend Update.. she never flinched when she was called an ignorant... s____

Samurai.. Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger

Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford.. looking back that is hysterical.

More recently in the 80's.

Loved, Loved, Loved Eddie Murphy.. he was so funny.

James Brown, In the Hot Tub
Buckwheat
Mr. Robinsons Neighborhood (in the ghetto)

Adored Billy Crystal

You LOOK Marvelous
His Sammy Davis Jr. was hysterical.

Dana Carvey
Church Lady so funny

In the 90's.

Phil Hartman.. what can I say? He was an amazing talent. He did a great job, no matter what

Chris Farley.. he was so funny too.. shame, shame he died as well

Mike Myers/Dana Carvey Waynes World, very very funny, made me laugh

Mike Myers as Linda Goldman "like butter"

Late 90-s to now

The Jeopardy scenes.. hysterical
Cheerleaders good, funny
Guys at Roxbury
Mango (I know I'm sick!)
Brian Fellows

This new season should be interesting since Tracey and Kattan are gone. Who will now be a top biller? Will they get any new talent?

Its amazing that this show has run for almost 30 years. I'm happy and shocked that it has been on for so long.

There were some pretty bad years.. think the Micheal McKean, Anthony Michael Hall years.. and it still survived.

I can't believe I forgot 'The Continental'! Christopher Walken is hilarious in that one....:D

Do you remember "The Loud Family"?...the whole family that talks really loud.

How about the spoof of the old Beach Blanket Bingo type movies...Gilda Radner was well-endowed, ala Annette Funicello, and she introduces herself "HI! I'm Annette and these are my breasts!" (I can think of a few people with that sort of mentality. )

Yes the LOUD FAMILY... that was funny...

I just remembered I liked Will Farrell and Ana Gastyer (I think) as the middle school music teachers.. that were very very bad singers!

They made me luahg

I love "The Continental", too!!! Christopher Walken is THE BEST!!! "Forgive me if my hungry eyes feast on the banquet of your sumptious cleavage." :teeth:

I also really loved "Mango", and pretty much anything Chris Kattan did. And Will Ferrell too... Those guys are comic geniuses!

But my all time favorite is the Boston sketch with Jimmy Fallon and Rachel Dratch playing Sully and Denise (Zazu!). I guess it's only funny if you're from Boston (I happen to live a couple of blocks away from Fenway), but it's so on the mark! Go NOMAH!!!!! :p

I love that one, too! I'm not from up there, but I lived in CT for a bit. The best was when Nomar was in the skit and he was gonna give Sully's sister a few souvenir balls....

It has to be Gilda Radner as Roseanne Roseannadanna. LOL! :teeth:
