Favorite Snack as a Kid

What was your favorite snack when you were a kid? I think I was the strangest child ever when it came to snacks. Mine was tomatoes in vinegar and pickled cauliflower.

Celery with peanut butter on it. My Mom made enough for the entire neighborhood. I haven't had it in forever.

I loved those pudding packs where you had to pull off the lid on the can - boy do I miss tinny tasting pudding!!!

I used to take a slice of american cheese and put ketchup in it. I would fold it up into a little square and pop the entire thing in my mouth. Pretty gross. I tried it recently and had to spit it out.

I used to put ketchup on grilled cheese. Not so sure about plain cheese and ketchup though.

After school, my mom used to take big flour tortillas, spread some pizza sauce on them, sprinkle them with mozzarella cheese, and put them on a cookie sheet under the broiler till the cheese melted and the tortillas got crispy on the edges. YUMMY!

A 2-saltine sandwich of butter and american cheese. Enough butter to make it squish out the holes when you bite! Yum!

I used to love Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches!!

A jar of peanut butter and saltines, I would just sit there watching TV and make little PB sandwiches. MMMMMMMM

Snack pack puddings, I loved those.

Peanut Butter Balls, which I still love. They are a mixture of peanut butter (obviously ), honey, and powered milk-they are GOOD! Perhaps I'll make a batch tonight.

As a child it was fruit roll ups and peanut butter and jelly on ritz crackers

My grandmother who lived with us made m&m cookies, homemade, and would have them warm out of the oven, just barely cooked (not crunchy!).
