Have had good results with Mpix as well. Neither I nor any of my relatively small number of customers have had any complaints. But I actually print my own stuff most of the time. The lure of the Epson Stylus Pro 9800 is far too great!
Does mpix.com allow you to ship a print to someone else?
For example, I list a print for sale at my price. When an order comes in, I place the order on MPix and they fullfil the order by shipping to my customer?
I have order a from a few different sites and sizes as well. mpix.com is the best. As far as quality of the print-customer service- and main thing is the way they pack the photos.

Do you already have a system/site setup to sell your pictures? Or are you just thinking of doing that???
I know that Zenfolio works with mpix for when people order your pictures. You really don't have to "handle" the orders yourself.... unless you want to.

I'm so jealous. I have access to a 9800 and a 7800 right now at the print lab on campus but I only have a 2880 at home. While the 2880 puts out the same amazing quality prints with K3 inks, it's limited to 13 inches wide. I'm working on convincing DH I need the 9800 though.

I looked into that, but I was hoping to cut out the middle man. Especially considering I would not expect many orders that would really justify the membership fees. More importantly, this would be sending people away from your site to Zenfolio/Mpix where they become their customers not mine.
Over the years I have tried several sites for ordering prints. If you are looking for higher quality prints, mpix is very good. If you are looking for your "everyday" prints, I like winkflash. Mpix is good, but a bit more expensive. I like using them for prints I will hang on the walls and nicer prints for family. I scrapbook, and I prefer to order most of my prints from winkflash. IMO, they have the best quality/price combination - especially for those "nothing special" prints. I have tried snapfish, shutterfly, creative memories and several others, and I think winkflash has the best quality - and I think their prices are lower than the others - even when you factor in shipping.
