What is your favorite sit down in each park?
What is the sit down that you HAVE to go to each visit?

DBF and I are trying to figure out where to eat on our visit next month...

At Magic Kingdom, ours is Crystal Palace. We have always had lunch there--this year we are going for breakfast. And of course, there is CRT-always a must for breakfast as well. At Hollywood Studios, we like the Sci Fi or 50's Primetime Cafe. We don't usually eat at Animal Kingdom. Epcot we have many favorites--Coral Reef, Tutto Italia, the Princess Breakfast at Akershus and of course, Le Cellier.

Hmmm let's see....

DHS - Sci Fi
EPCOT - Teppan Edo
MK - none
AK - Flame Tree BBQ (counter service)

Others....Beaches & Cream, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Cali Grill & Yachtman's Steakhouse

We are 1-sit-down meal-per-day folks, usually dinner. These are the ones we shoot for:

MK = (none), pop out for CA Grill
EP = Bistro
DS = Brown Derby
AK = (none), Jiko at AKL or try some place near/in the next park

Since your visit is next month, I fear you are going to have to settle for what is available. Folks begin making reservations 180 days (6 months) in advance. The most popular restaurants book full almost as soon as reservations are avaialble, especially restaurants INthe parks. I would go online or call ASAP to see what might be available.
To answer your question, our favorites are:
MK - Plaza
AK none, we would go to Jiko at the AKL
DHS 50's Prime Time Cafe - we love it here.
EC We love the Internation restaurants in WS. We get park hoppers so we can hop to Epcot for dinner in the evening 4-5 our of 7 nights. Our favorites are:

Teppan Edo in Japan
Restaurant Marrakesh in Morroco
Rose & Crown in the UK
Biergarden in Germany
San Angel Inn in Mexico

Enjoy

As for a must for us, we only really have one and that is Akershus for Breakfast at Epcot in the Norway pavillion. Other than that, we really like Le Cellier, but we are not doing that in September, instead we are trying Les Chefs de France. Another one we are trying out for the first time is CP for breakfast in the MK (hoping this will become a favorite, since it gets a ton of great reviews). We don't have a favorite sit-down place in DHS, but we are trying out Sci-Fi for the first time. And as for AK, we don't really care for the sit-down places there, but we do enjoy Flame Tree BBQ even though it is a CS.

Magic Kingdom: The Plaza
Epcot: Coral Reef
Disney's Hollywood Studios: Hollywood Brown Derby
Animal Kingdom: Yak & Yeti

I generally prefer the table service restaurants at the resorts, but there are a few decent options within the theme parks.

MK - Tony's reason being it has been a tradition to eat there since 1975.
EPCOT - Le Chef's esquisite food, plus being a cajun boy I can actually order and speak to them in their language.
AK - Yak and Yeti we were very surprised the first time we ate there.
DHS - Mama Melrose's no bells and whistles(servers wanting to be actresses or eating on a dashboard of a car) just good Italian food.

non-park is a tie between Raglan Road and Narcoose's.

My only "must do" is the Sci Fi. Gotta have my yummy tofu!

:)

MK: Crystal Palace
Epcot: Le Cellier (we really like Biergarten and Tutto Italia too).
HS: Brown Derby
AK: I have only had RFC

since I was little EVERY year I HAVE to go to Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland at MK.... it's counter service but hey.. you sit LOL! I always like to sit by the window watching IASW.... the food isnt' the best but it's not disney without eating there at least once during my trip!!

MK - Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
Epcot - San Angel Inn
DHS - 50's Primetime or Sci-Fi
AK - Yak & Yeti

MK- Hop to Citricos at Grand Floridian
EP- Rose and Crown
AK- Flame Tree
HS- Nothing is great. Boat over to the Boardwalk to Flying Fish

Like someone else said, next month will be slim pickins.

EPCOT - Les Chefs de France - yummy food, great service, and great people watching if you sit in the atrium

MK - We love The Plaza Restaurant - simple food and a nice place - good for kids

AK - Love, love, love Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House - awesome food and great character interaction

HS - Brown Derby if you want to use two TS credits - if not, pick some resort dining instead

MK-Crystal Palace
Epcot-Teppan Edo
DHS-50s Primetime
AK-Yak & Yeti

Non park- Its a toss up between Citricos and Narcoossees

MK: Only done one Table Service... It was Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. (trying Tony's in November though)
Epcot: Le Celler... Hands down!
AK: Also only ate at one table service. Tusker House when it first became a TS... I also would eat here again (trying the character breakfast in November)
DHS: Prime Time 50's Cafe

Our traditional "must do" is always Rose and Crown over in Epcot. We love the atmosphere and food. Plus, it's a great place to watch the Illuminations if you can snag a good spot outside.

But to answer your other question:

Magic Kingdom- The Plaza. Best place for burgers and sundae style desserts on property in my opinion.
Animal Kingdom- Yak & Yet. AK only has two options in the way of table service meals, but I prefer the Asian style of this one over Tusker House.
Hollywood Studios- 50's Prime Time cafe. Mmm, the pot roast is awesome.
Epcot- Since I already threw out my favorite from there, I'll put Teppan Edo here. Very entertaining place and the food is wonderful.

Good luck!
