We are a party of 6 (4 adults, 2 children ages 4 and 6) going to stay at HoJo Anaheim on July 1 to 8th, 2015. Looking to see what the advice is on these threads as the most reliable service. Coming in from the East Coast so will be traveling ALL DAY so interested in private (non-shared) service. I realize its going to be a little more expensive but after travelling all day, 1 long layover and 2 kids, one who is autistic, we DEFINETELY need that private van.

From what I've read so far these are my most reasonable choices:
PrimeTime Shuttle, Sav-On Shuttle, Shuttle2LAX, Supershuttle, waiting on quote from Zippy.

Which one would you suggest? I value all the advice from these boards and would be very appreciative of any insights. TIA! :thumbsup2

We used Prime Time when we needed transportation from PPH to our Disney Cruise, then back to the resort after the cruise. They were on time and had great communication.

We're going with Payless on our upcoming trip. Heard good things, and they provide car seats for the kiddos.

I should point out -- I am the only one who has recommended Sav-on Shuttle on this board (just in case anyone wonders where that one came from!:rotfl2:). I don't think that most people know about it, or have heard about it. It's been a good service for me on many occasions (I prefer it over SuperShuttle and Karmel Shuttle), and I would happily recommend Sav-on.

However, I think that most people like to stick with places that they have heard of, or places with a solid reputation. So you may want to stick with PrimeTime or SuperShuttle, as they are the most well-known.

Lansky's (formerly DK Livery) has alternately gotten fantastic reviews and very bad reviews, so that may (or may not!:rotfl2:) be an option for you. I've never tried their service, but I may give them a shot in the future.

We used DK Livery last January and will again on our next trip. Excellent service, especially after spending 6 hours travelling already. It was nice to sit back and relax.

I have used Lansky's twice when we have more than two people going in our group. Love them...They are at the luggage area waiting on you. They load your luggage and unload it for you. Second time I used them we had a wheel chair and needed a carseat for a 2 year old and they were awesome!. They also did a stop at a store for us to stock up on snacks and water...Very professional!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We used Lansky a few weeks ago and had a FANTASTIC experience. I was flying alone with 5 kids and needed something that would make arrival easier. The driver met us at baggage claim with a luggage cart and from that point on I didn't deal with our bags until they were unloaded at the curb, pull handles up, in front of check in at our hotel.

I used Lansky's in October from LAX. It was $95 to Anaheim and then $85 on the way back to LAX. I thought they were great. We did have one small issue with the driver who dropped us off at the hotel. I tipped him and he was expecting me to pay him the full fair. I had prepaid when I made my reservation. I had a copy of my receipt and showed him that...he asked for a copy which the hotel made. I didn't have that issue going back though (different driver/vehicle). I would use them again.

I thought tip was included?

Of course if you get exceptional service an extra tip is warranted but if the driver wants me to double pay that is not exceptional

When we booked, the payment including tip was $95 and immediately charged to our account. I would think that would be their company wide policy so really weird that the driver tried to collect again.

We would take their service again. The driver was waiting for us in baggage claim, the 20 minute stop felt to rushed to get much but we did pick up a couple of things.
Our driver's English was difficult to understand but he knew where he was going so all was good.
