I have been to WDW several times with the last trip March 06. And I shop each trip, but I always feel rushed and I don't get in all of the shops. Each trip I say this trip I'm going to go in every shop on main street and never do well this year I will. This trip we are planning a day for Me and DD's to go off together and DH and DS to do their thing. Then we are going to meet at Le Cellier for dinner. I want to take part of this day to browse around shops.(I'm sure I'll do more than browse :rotfl2: ) So what is your favorite shop or shops in WDW? TIA :)

I'm a guy so take this with a grain of salt.

I am not sure the name of the shop, but I really like the Mickey store that is on the right as you walk thru the castle towards Fantasyland.

The best part of the store is when you go inside, you see Willy the Giant trying to pull the roof off, looking for mickey.

We found some great places at MGM. Can't remember the names... it was late we were leaving fantasmic walking along that main drag...

Also love looking in the shop in the castle, too expensive for us, but great window shopping... check out the crystal castle for thousands of dollars!

The Emporium has great stuff for kids (MK)

Epcot - Morocco - neat stuff

Hmmmm..... I suppose all of them!!!!

We always try to shop at the end of the day when everyone else is rushing to the buses.

I love the Christmas shoppe in Liberty Square..I never leave that place without buying something!

My family loves the Villian store at MGM.

My favorite places to shop at in WDW is Disney's Pin Traders, World Of Disney, The Emporium, Mousegears, B.V.G. at the Contemporary & Team Mickey.

I agree with Judy From Boise - I love the Mexico pavillion in Epcot. I also love the Japan pavillion. Lots of rooms to browse through in the department store including a room with nothing but flatware - so pretty.

In Disney-MGM Studios, I love Tatooine Traders and the Studio Prop Shop (lots of great film books).

Downtown Disney: Don't get me wrong, I love World of Disney, but I really, really love the small specialty shops. My favorites are Basin, Starabillia's, Hoy Poloi, and the House of Blue Company Store. Also, the Virgin Megastore makes my mouth water (though you can probably get most of that stuff at home, just not all in the same place).

Villians Shop at MGM . ToT gift shop RnRRc as well.

Any and all of the Art Of Disney stores they have them in each park and DTD as well.

Oh my goodness! I have never noticed that before! I'll have to look for that in May! How cool!

I love the Emporium on Main Street in the MK - it is always the first shop I go to when I get to the MK. It seems to have something for everyone, but I go for the pins, lanyards and lanyard medals! :teeth:

every trip to the MK, I am always rushed, and there's a TON of places I am exploring this trip in 8 days, everyone is so rushed and excited about getting on the rides, I like to take my time, this is what I am doing, now that my ds is nearly 18 and my dd is 13, they go with dh and I ll just take my time on Main Street, and meet up with them later=way later!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Have fun on your shopping trips everyone!:woohoo:

8 more days............WARM SUNNY FL!!!:cheer2:

I always like the Art of Disney stores. And still like WoD in DTD as the best general shopping place.
All of the stores in Ws are interesting. :hippie:

I feel your pain. I am a big shopper also, and for me its part of my vacation experience in WDW. True I don't get much chance to shop in the stores in the parks, (but I still try to sneak it in) because everyone is busy doing the things we do in the parks of course. I do try and take a morning at least, to go to DTD to get my fix. LUV World of Disney, and the Disney Days of Christmas . In EPCOT MouseGears is awesome.

My girls have always loved the store in MGM on the left that does personalization. They have a hard time finding their names in the sea of products available and this makes them feel special. Their new addiction is picking a pearl in Japan! They would do it all day long if we let them. It would make a nice memory of your day to include this!

Your DD will love :tinker: Tinkerbell's :tink: store in Fantasyland! You can actually see :tinker: Tinkerbell "fly" through the store. You can look in the dresser through the keyhole and see :tink: tinkerbell! (Actually it is just a flash of light) When we went in we looked and couldn't find anything so we asked a cm and they were excited to show us. Three cm came over to help show us :tinker: tink throughout the store. If you are the first family in the store that day you get to wake up :tink: tinkerbell in a fun little ceremony. (Didn't get to see that though):tinker: :tink: :tinker: :tink:

My favorites are Mitsukoshi in Japan (kimono, anyone?) and MouseGear at Epcot, and the Emporium and the pirate store at MK. Also any store with lots of pins!!!

I love all of the Art of Disney Shops, The christmas shops, and the World of Disney in Downtown Disney

I also love shopping at Disney and it's not something you get to do a lot of with children. But my all time favorite is the tea shop in England. I almost always buy a cup and saucer for my collection. They have a beautiful selection there. And I also love getting a pearl in Japan. The first time I went to WDW by myself I went into every shop in Downtown and it was great. You'll have a wonderful time.

My DH & I loved the shop in DTD that sold all the Artwork and was connected to the book store - I'm not sure of its name though. I had beautiful Art Work, sculptures, hand drawn characters, etc. We spent over an hour in there and then ended up going back later in the trip.
