Favorite shoes for September?

We've never traveled to WDW in the late summer/early fall as we've been going in the winter the last few years. I'm reading up on weather & shoe suggestions, and it seems like maybe I should be looking into a pair that dries quickly in the event of rain or the aftermath of water rides. Is this a good idea? What are your favorite shoes for late September? Right now, I've got my eye on Crocs RideLite Mesh Slip-Ons or Ryka Hydro Sport Cross Trainers.... Thanks in advance!

I love these. I wore them and walked 6-8 miles a day at WDW and they were so comfy & lite weight. No blisters and if it rains they are quick to dry. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3602835/skechers-reggae-fest-neap-womens-sneakers.jsp?prdPV=109
Oh? That's promising! I wonder if the Skechers Reggae slides have the same comfort. I bought a pair at the beginning of the summer and liked them so much I wore them like it was my job. They have a thong and no back, which are my concerns I have with wearing them at WDW. I worry that they could start to rub.

Do you find that Tevas take some breaking in as not to rub?
What you want to look for are the Teva's with the neoprene backing. I walked 500 miles across Spain in brand new Teva Tirra's back in 2016 and those shoes were life savers, needed zero breaking in and I could trudge through a creek and keep walking the rest of the day with zero blistering. YMMV but Teva's are the only sandal I will buy now. I finally retired my 2016 Tirra's just last month and purchased a brand new pair in a very sleek black color, and I am falling in love with these shoes all over again.

They sound like they're worth the investment!

I am a sneakers person. I find them the most comfortable when walking/standing for long periods of time. usually when it starts to rain I duck into a store/attraction to kill time until the rain breaks. just be sure they are not new - and I wear heavy sox - even in the summer. funny tip - I bought the mickey mouse low sox on a trip and as it turns out they are my fav for the parks. absorb perspiration, comfortable, and never a blister. was worth the money for me.. good luck
