Favorite server on the Magic???

I did a search for favorite server, and only saw threads that were favorite server on the Wonder, and favorite cast member on the Magic which included DJ's, etc.

I would love to hear who your favorite server is on the Magic, and why?? If this has been done recently, sorry. We are leaving in 12 days and I would love to know! !

Our absolute favorite server team was the team we had on the 14 day eastbound repositioning cruise - Our Server - Ivan from Croatia, Assistant Server Paola from Mexico and Our Head Server - Alen from Croatia were fantastic! We were pampered, well cared for, entertained and miss them all terribly. Not only did we see them at dinner, but frequently saw Alen at lunch or in the halls and he always had a good word. Ivan and Paola always made our day!

At Palo, our absolute favorite server is Marco from Italy, we have had him twice. Perfect service, good extra suggestions, always there when you want him. Special ordered two extra soufles for us to bring back to our twin chocoholic sons - made their night!

Our family having twins makes us easy for the crew to remember from the 7 day cruises - from our first cruise we fondly remember Karl from Jamaica and Denis from the Phillipines - we saw Denis at breakfast on the repo cruise and were very impressed when he recognized the twins 5 years later. The twins still remember how Karl and Denis paid attention to them and brought them special stuff every night.

We also love Sachin from India from our 2003 cruise. He had just gotten onboard the Magic for the Eastbound cruise - so he is probably still on board. We saw him at Topsiders several times and seemed genuinely happy to see us. The boys remember that he had a magic trick for them every night!

By the way - none of these servers ever gave us the imfamous Excellent speech!

We had Alex and Silvana and our stateroom host was Albert. They were all wonderful and made our holiday so special.

Brenda, where was Alex from? We had an Alex on our last cruise that was from Croatia. He and Kendal from Trinidad as the assistant server made an awesome team.

By the end of the week, they knew what we liked and what we didn't like. I think they were the best serving team we've ever had.

We had Adrian from England and Tessa from Hungary last March - they were awesome!! My son and the other boys at our table loved Adrian's magic tricks every night. Tessa was since promoted to Head Server from assistant - and I was upset that their team was being broken up since they were so great together. I hope we see either or both of them again in February 06!

They kept bringing us an endless sea of Mickey Bars!!

My all time favorite server on the Magic was Fitz... I believe he is a head server now though. He was amazing! So fun and cheerful all the time.

We've been on the Magic several times before and always ask for Liam Scott from Jamaica. He is not only a professional but always quick with a smile and a kind word. We feel pampered with Liam looking after us. He's terrific with kids too. His magic tricks are great. We're members of the Liam fanclub!

As far as Palo goes, Marco is just awesome. I can't wait to see him again, too.

Another vote for Adrian from England!!! He's the best and very good at what he does! I believe he has been promoted to Head Server - Which he absolutely deserves to have (but will be missed as a server!)

I completely agree about Marco from Italy in Palo!!! He is the BEST!!! We had him on our first cruise and no one can beat him!! He made our trip to Palo the best!

Marco is one of the best! We were one of the lucky few to have him as our assistant server last 12/4/04 when he returned from an extra long trip home. He lost his place in Palo, but from what I read on the boards he wasn't in the dining rooms for very long. He was wonderful with the kids and commented that was one thing that he missed in Palo. We are going to have to arrange some way for them to say hello to him on our cruise next month.

I had Emanuel from the Phillipines in Palo...EXCELLANT!!!

Alex or Alexsandra from the Netherlands was our head server and she was OUTSTANDING..I have never had a head server be so engaging...even on deck and at CC

Louis our server..eh..he was ok...better if he stopped chirping but his asst. Michelle was very sweet.

In October of '04, we had Anton from Bulgaria, and Jurate from Lithuania, on the Magic. Since, we have been on the Wonder. We have been on 2 DCL cruises and 1 cruise each Princess and NCL. I cannot imagine service being any better that what Anton and Jurate provided. We will request them for our cruise next October.
