Favorite Rides after dark

BTMRR
Astro Orbiter
I suspect that 7DMT is better after dark
Splash Mountain

For some reason, Big Thunder Mountain feels infinitely more "intense" when it's dark out. I don't know if it's because the ride's been running all day and the coaster/track is "heated up" and moves a little quicker or if it's just psychology playing tricks on my mind, but there's a huge difference to me riding Big Thunder at night.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was a bit more enjoyable during the daytime, however, that could be because I've ridden it so few times that I wanted to take in all the details which was obviously easier when it was light out. (However, you can see Snow White in the final scene MUCH better at night without the glare of the afternoon sun which twice now for me has made that scene nearly impossible to see.)

Similarly, I like Splash Mountain a little better during the daytime as I find the outdoor scenes a bit more enjoyable then. Plus, I like going up the big lift hill and seeing the "light at the end of the tunnel."

For the most part, though, I love MK at night. Getting on Pirates and walking out into the nighttime adds to the mood despite the fact that none of the ride takes place outside.

Big Thunder
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
Splash Mountain
Jungle Cruise
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, by all rights, should be better, but the spotlights used to illuminate on-ride video are blinding and ruin the experience.

The Jungle Cruise! I knew I was forgetting something important.

I'll second, third, fourth these... ;):D

Astro Orbiter
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Tomorrowland Transit Authority (people mover)

...and, looking at the castle.

We caught Dumo once when teh fireworks were going off. It was great, dont know if it still in same spot or running durring

We now only do the Jungle Cruise after dark. It is awesome and you actually feel like you are not in a crowded theme park.

Jungle Cruise, for sure! I always find the skippers to be funnier at night, but that may be because there are always seem to be less kids on the boat at night.

BTMRR
Splash
Jungle Cruise--really! Try it. It's a whole new ride in the dark.
Haunted Mansion--there is just something more ominous about walking up to that place in the dark!

Jungle Cruise is MUCH better at night! It feels like you're on a boat full of happy, non-annoying drunks to me, even though everyone is (presumably) sober ;)

BTMRR is great at night, too. Seems wilder, for some reason.

I also LOVE the Haunted Mansion at night, even though it's inside. Something about approaching it at night gets me.

If PeopleMover and/or Jungle Cruise are not on your list then you have not ridden them after dark.

*Big Thunder
*Jungle Cruise (assuming you get a great skipper)
*Honorary nod to Peoplemover (It is OK now, but was so much better with the old narration)

Another vote for Jungle Cruise! We usually ride during the day and my kids find it dull, but we rode at night last August and my daughter was terrified lol. I guess the scenes are more intense when it's dark. Certainly felt different to me, too!

Our family loves Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. After hours there usually isn't a wait - we were just there in February and it was late and raining. We just kept going on trying to beat each other - we loved it. The CMs were laughing with us - trying to guess who would win this time. So much fun!

We also love Jungle Cruise, Dumbo and People mover at night.
