Aside from Character Dinning. We have a dinner set up in Norway (StoryBook), and I MIGHT switch it for the Hoop-Dee-Doo (if I can)..b/c I am worried my 2 YO will be scared of the characters/princesses, etc...SO aside from character dinning...

I would like some RAVES for GREAT restaurants in MK, AK, or any resorts that you just LOVED bringing your little ones to!

Thanks so much!

I know that restaurants won't say 'not appropriate for kids' but lets face it, I know with the noise my 3 DS's can make(6, 2,2) sometimes I'm sure we would get some glares. :rolleyes1 It's tough to know what's ok unless you've been there.

O'hana in the Poly for dinner - fun games your little one may be too young for some of them but they are fun to watch. We also go for a quick ride on the resort monorail after.
Whispering Canyon in the WL- great atmosphere for kids.
Boma in AKL - you can take your little one to view the animals while you're there.

Our DS was 2 when we took him to Coral Reef. He loved just looking at all of the fish in the aquarium:)

We love going to the Rainforest Cafe (at AK) and Whispering Canyon (WL) with the kids. Both restaurants are fun, loud and keep the kids' attention, plus the food is great. 50's PT and Sci Fi can be lots of fun too.

I would say *most* sit down restaurants are fine for Toddlers in Disney. One that we had an issue with was Marrakesh. We went when my DD was 20 mos. She had been eating out almost weekly since she was a month old and we never had an issue. But, she was tired, it was 5pm and the restaurant was SO quiet. Belly dancer and band lasted for all of 5 min. I had to take her and walk around. Plus the food wasn't that good. Some they really liked were:
Sci-Fi Dine In
Tony's
Crystal Palace
Ohana
Kona Cafe
Chef Mickeys
Akershus
Biergarten (they loved this one)
But like I said, most should be fine. Have fun!

I would suggest Coral Reef too. Not only is the food fantastic, the tank is very soothing for kids. Mine were completely entertained! But, I would suggest waiting for a table beside the tank. It is definitely worth the wait! :goodvibes

My 2½ DD loved Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends last time we went. We went for lunch and it was so much fun. This is one of our favorite lunch places.

Back in 2003, my then DS 4 & DS 2½ liked the Sci-Fi Dine In because they got to sit in cars! We're going back there for lunch too in June.

Last year my son was 23mo and we did Boma, Ohana and CP. His favorite by far was CP with Pooh and Tigger and he still talks about it every time we pull out the pictures. Boma was soooo awesome we went back twice our waiter was great and sung songs to the baby, Ohana was just all around fun for him. He did the morocco parade and whacked my husbands shins to death with the broom for the coconut races. Those would be my top picks. Matter of fact we are doing them all again this year. :rotfl:

Well CRT was a traditional favorite of ours until it was ruined with the overpriced "character experiences" that are now there. Coral Reef is a great place for toddlers as the fish tanks will keep them occupied. We also enjoyed the Biergarten when we had toddlers. It's a bustling atmosphere and includes a dinner show. Sci Fi is also fun, though go for the experience and not so much to food.
