There will be several nights when we will be eating outside the park. Besides the unusal chains, has anyone have any good recommendations?

Ming Court is a great suggestion. We also like Emeril's Tchoup Tchoup and Cafe Tu Tu Tango (all in the general I-Drive area).

Another vote for Cafe Tu Tu Tango. And city walk is a great place to check out.

We love Emeril's and go every single year. We didn't think we were going this year because friends are going with us so we were sticking strictly to Disney. But as I was reading this, it dawned on me that we are driving to Daytona for four nights after we leave Disney and we can stop at Emeril's and have dinner on the way to Daytona. I'm so excited...going to make my ressie right now.

We like Chevy's in the Goodings Plaza (I think that is the name of the shopping center). I am not sure if it is a chain or not, that is the only one I have seen. :)

Emeril's Tchoup Chop is great, as is his restraunt at City Walk.

If you're in the mood for an intimate dinner and don't mind the drive to Tampa (it took us about an hour when we went...) There is an AWESOME steakhouse called Berns!

The BEST steak you will ever have (outside of WDW of course!)

The also offer tours of their kitchen and wine cellar, as well as a private Dessert lounge....makes me drool just thinking about it! :thumbsup2

Check out their website...

Chevy's is some good Americanized Mexican food. You might try heading up to City Walk at Universal to try out Margaritaville or Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Bubba Gump has the best shrimp I have ever tasted in my life. Landry's also has good seafood (and really good garlic bread).

Celebration Town Tavern - Great fresh New England seafood at reasonable prices. Also, take a walk around the center of Celebration.

Have a great trip.:cool1:

Ming's is great - Tchoup Tchoup is great
Perkins is a chain but the food is okay and very reasonable
We ate at Pebbles several years ago and it was good

check out the celebration, florida website --- there are several good restaurants there and you can walk around afterwards (there are shops that are open where the restaurants are)
