I've booked a trip for my inlaws and they will be staying at the Beach Club for 6 nights. I've booked a couple of meals but would like a few suggestions for restaurants in Epcot. I was able to get a LeCellier ADR for a 2:50 lunch but I'm still hoping to get a dinner time instead. So, aside from LeCellier ;) , where are you favorite table service meals in Epcot?

Have been to:
Nine Dragons - not as bad as was expecting (from some of the reviews) Would eat there again.
Biergarten - DH and DS loved it, not really my kind of food, but fun. Will be going again, DH has twisted my arm.
Rose & Crown - I'm British, so it would be nice if they served British food. At present I kind of view this place as a satellite to the American pavillion! It was okay food, but not great (appetizers and desserts were good, entrees not so much) Change the menu, I might go again, otherwise I'll stick to the fish and chip counter. Shame as the terrace is a really nice spot for dinner.
Le Cellier - Great
Chefs de France - Whole family really liked it. Nice ambience. Had a good seat by the window and service was spot on.

Obviously these are all my own opinions and I expect they are many that will disagree!

We love, love, love Coral Reef. And we are not seafood eaters. They have awesome steaks! Anyway, the food is fabulous and the atmosphere just cannot be beat.

At Epcot I've eaten at Coral Reef, Garden Grill, San Angel Inn, Akershus, Nine Dragons, Chefs de France, Marrakesh, Rose and Crown, and Le Cellier.

My favorites are Le Cellier, Chefs, and Akershus. Though Akershus I really just like for the princesses and atmosphere.

We think Chefs de France is the best Epcot restaurant. It's actually our favorite 1 TS restaurant in all of WDW. Yes, we've eaten at Le Cellier several times. ;)

We also like San Angel Inn. IMHO, you need to be willing to be a bit adventurous to really appreciate the food. The same can be said for Marrakesh. My DH & DS don't like it as good as I do though. I love all things sweet, & much of their food, even entrees, tastes like it's had a dusting of sugar.

We enjoy Biergarten and Marrakesh very much. We used to like the restaurants at Japan so we are anxiously awaiting for them to reopen.

Rose & Crown is one we have liked but we have also found it to be inconsistent with food & service quality.

LeCellier is OK but I feel overall is overrated.

I like San Angel but it is nothing special.

I used to like Akershus years ago when it was strictly a buffet....don't care for it now.

We like Coral Reef. We've always had a good meal there.:thumbsup2

I'll add my vote, or actually my husband's vote. Assuming they won't mind the princesses my husband feels the breakfast at Akershus is one of the best meals on property. We are going again in March '08. Our daughter could care less, she will like seeing the princesses, but the main reason we are going to this meal is so daddy can have the breakfast at Norway!

Are you sure it's the food that daddy likes? ;)

Bistro de Paris hands down, small place with great food, great service, it's a short walk for them back to the room .You can book around 8 pm and see illuminations from the table:banana:

There are so many we love so are favorites (besides Le Cellier) are:

Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Biergarten
Nine Dragons

Our two favorite restaurants from last months visit have to be Chef's De France and although its a short walk from Epcot - Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We are also big fans of Le Celliar & Rose and Crown.

My husband LOVED Biergarten. I don't like that kind of food, so I'm not a good judge - but he assures me its great...and he hates buffets usually.

My other favorite is the fish and chips counter service. I know it isn't a sit-down, but its SOOOO good. I eat there each time I go.
