Although I've loved every WDW resort that I've stayed at (Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans Riverside, and Caribbean Beach) I had to vote for my absolute favorite - the Polynesian!

Although deluxe would be out of my budget for my typical 10 day trip, the moderates didn't break the bank and I could book the moderates for my trips. I stayed at three moderates and loved them all.

However, I was trying to figure out why I love Pop Century much more and can't even think about going back to the mods I have stayed.

I think I came up with why it is my favoriate resort:

It is not because it is cheaper, because if it was the price of the mods, I would still stay there. It is all about the atmosphere. I get the same feeling when I walk into the lobby and the gift shop as I do when I first walk into one of the parks. It has that magical excitment about it. I don't get that at the mods or even the deluxe resorts I have visited. When I first get there and walk out of the lobby and see the Hippie Dippie Pool, it really has an atmosphere that equals that of the parks. I love the music they play throughout the day, I love the food court, basically I love everything about this place.

I just got lucky that it is in the value category, because it really is my favoriate resort. I am going again this year for the fourth time.

I love the WL. The theming just immediately connected with me. Since we go in the summer we do spend a lot of time at the resort and we've always had fabulous times at the WL.

So far we have only tried OKW (three trips) in February and July, Pop in January and WL in September.

I think my vote would differ on different dates, but overall, WL is the standout.

We are staying BWV in a BW view in May, I am thinking my vote may change.

Port Orleans Riveside is my vote. Great theme. Nice landscaping. Boatwrights is a good resturant. The boat ride to DTD is my favorite.
