Favorite Resort Gift Shop?

When we need a slow day, sometimes we resort hop. What is your favorite resort gift shop to visit on vacation? Is it the staff, unique merchandise, decor, or something else that makes you want to spend some time and money?

Though I have not visited them all, I tend to like the CR. The two retail stores are very large with alot of variety of home goods. The staff is very firendly and the pin stand is great. Second for me is at the WL. Great staff once again with some cool, unique resort items with an outdoor theme.

I like the gift shops at the Contemporary and the Polynesian. There's approx. 5 or 6 shops at the Polynesian and I think they are a good size with a nice variety of merchandise from anywhere from Hawiian style to Mickey. I also enjoy the shops at the Contemporary because they are big with alot to choose from.

When we go over to Ft. Wilderness to Trails End, we always stop at the Trading Post there because they have cute t-shirts and a variety of snacks.

The shop at the AKL is by far the most unique and beautiful. One of my favorite CM's of all times works in Fittings and Fairings at the YC, so I like that one too

My favorite Gift shop is the one in the Beach Club. The CMs are the best,friendly and helpful and the merchandise there seems always a little different than the others. It is always a stop we have to make.

My husband and I decided to stop in and have a look around on our way to the busstop one morning. By the time we left, we looked at the time - and we had been in there for an hour and a half!! Didn't even realize we had spent so much time browsing (not to mention the stuff we bought)!!

Another vote for AKL!!!! I can spend hours in that store!!

AKL definitely has alot of unique items. My DD loves to play with the musical instruments in the shop. Sounds like I need to check out the BC and CBR gift shop the next trip. Thanks.
