I'm not exactly sure of your question. If you are asking if it has a slide? The answer is no. I have taken my dgs9 and dgd12 and stayed at Pop and they loved it. Although we really are at the resort very little. We love to go to BB where they have lots of slides and water rides.

None of the value resorts have a slide. That's the one downside for us. If you can manage paying a little extra the moderates have some pretty good pool areas. They all have water slides also. My dd has loved POR since she first went at age 6 back in '99. That was her very first water slide experience.

what the heck is a tween-ager? whats with all these nack wacky words?
are they a teen, pre-teen, or little kid? just wondering..

pop has no slide, but has nice pools, one that has flowers spraying at you.

My 12yr DS who turns 13 before our next WDW vacation has asked to return to the Wilderness Lodge (its our 2nd "home")
so we are for 3 of our 14 nights - unless a code comes out then we'll maybe stay more than 3

hehe I the Tween thing is new. Nothing against the Original Poster, but I really hate that term. :)

That being said, POP would be fun for kids to see all the giant icons and things.

My neice is a tween girl. She loves POFQ because of the pool.

Also, when my brother was a kid, he loved the CR because of the arcade.

There is a great arcade at Pop and the pool, while it does not have a slide, is very fun and the resort I think is very kid friendly. :)

No slide but I think he would enjoy the theme and the fun there. If you really want to stay in that price range - I would - and use my extra cash elsewhere - and then try to squeeze in a trip to Blizzard Beach for a slide fix...........now that is the park for a tweenager :cool1:

If you can bump up to moderate, I would say he will LOVE the pool and slide at CSR. My kids love it !!! :sunny:

On our last family trip my sons were 13 and 10 and we stayed at Caribbean Beach which they loved, and the Grand Floridian which they liked as well.

However, for our trip this year (they'll be 17 and 14 by trip time), they BOTH requested the Polynesian resort. We visited the Polynesian last time, had a couple of meals there, and toured the resort and we all really liked what we saw.

Personally I don't think you can go wrong with any Disney resort. A lot will depend on how much you want to spend, so maybe start with a resort category and go from there. :)
