What is your favorite rainy-day thing to do at the Fort/Disney ?

I also love the sound on the MH roof.

haha thats another good thing for a rainy day cant beat bacon and having it at the fort is even better

If at the lake stay in and bake, cook and watch a movie. If at WDW ride the monorail and visit the resorts.

I enjoy reading and napping when we have rainy days and are camping near home. Since we dont' get to Disney all that often, unless it's pouring, we tend to continue with going to the parks.

I have found that is the best time to go to the parks. If I don't go to the park I fill up my TT with all the tent camper and watch a movie

We tent camp, and have never camped at Fort Wilderness yet. GASP!!

But, we put up our canopy over the picnic table , and we're all set to do activities when-not if-it rains. It ALWAYS rains. We play simple games. Some of our favorites are Bananagrams and Quiddler. Both are small, very important for car camping!

We'll also play Scattergories, or just card games.

When our kids were little, we would go "puddle stomping", which is played just how it sounds. Go find a puddle and stomp in it, as hard as you can, to see who can make the biggest splash! This is fun after the rain ends, too. Bonus points if you can splatter mud onto a competitor's face!!

The good news is that most of FL's summer storms tend to not last very long. They usually come in the afternoon and it rarely rains for more than an hour.

If the weatherman says it is going to rain all day, the parks will be less crowded or you can always spend the day at DD shopping and a movie.
