Hi Everybody!:grouphug:

I was just on the Monorail and heard a girl saying that her favorite room in VMK is Tom Sawyer's Island. It made me wonder what everyone else's favorite room is?

After much thought I decided on New Orleans Square. I love the Dixieland and Cajun-type music, the docked keelboat, Lafitte's Anchor (I THINK that's whose it is!!), and the beads draped over the Disney Gallery balcony. And I love the roofline, it's so close to the "real thing" I feel like I'm in Disneyland. Even the difficult-to-see-in-the-Park sailing ship!

Sometimes I forget how incredibly beautiful VMK is.:cloud9:

So, anybody else want to share? Thanks in advance.:goodvibes

My favorite would also have to be, Tom Sawyers Island. I like all the caves, the peaceful rivers, and the log chairs.

I also like how its a small island.

Besides, Tom Sawyers Island is my favorite thing in disney probably, including the Haunted Mansion.

I just always realize when im there, VMK tries to make everything as realistic as possible, and they do a GREAT JOB! They even have the boat you use to get to the island, just like in disneyland! You can see the boat in the bottom left hand corner in VMK )

My favorite would have to be Fantasyland Courtyard. It is so close to the real thing and i am a huge fan of dark rides. It is just a great place to go and get a great theme park feel. Nice thread :thumbsup2

Probably Town Square. I just hang out there a lot, and so do all my friends.

While I'm not much of a hanging out person, I really like all the rooms in one way or another. They each have such beautiful detail and their own characters.

:goodvibes

I love the Pirate Treasure Room (that counts right?) It has all the treasure chests. I like sitting on the crates by the boat. I also love the VMK Gallery. Its so...fancy-ish. princess:

Esplanade- Because all new players show up there.

We interrupt this post to give you-

A Funny Story!!!

One day, I was bored so I went to the Esplanade and sat on a bench. Then some new players came in. So I said, "Hello, _________." Then I said it to every single person who entered the room. THE END.

It was not easy to pick a favorite. I would have to say its a tie between Haunted Mansion Lobby and Frontierland Dock. If I dont want to sit locked in one of my rooms to do potc codes I go to the dock and sit on the stool by the fishing rod. Not alot of ppl come in there so its a quiet place to sit and do codes. And I just like hanging out on the steps of the haunted mansion with my friends.

For me, I would have to say Town Square. I just got into the habit of clicking it once VMK loaded. :confused3

I also agree with cteddiesgirl; I love how there's so much detail in every room. VMK did a great job making them so close to the real thing.

I like main street because it reminds me of walking down main street as you enter magic kingdom :)

I agree. I like it that it is as close to the actual WDW resort as anything can be on VMK.

Thanks to everyone who's posted so far! This is so fun!
C'mon everybody, what's your favorite VMK public room? Don't be shy!

Well I could not decide between these two: Castle Forceourt and Big Thunder Mountain.

I love Castle Forecourt because you can see the castle from there, and all of the different lands. Also Walt and Mickey are there.

I love Thunder Mountain because it is just kind of relaxing. I like listening too the waterfall sound. Sometimes I'll go there and stand behind the cactus and enter codes, or help people through the maze.

My favourite room would have to be the fantasyland courtyard basically because I think it looks really pretty and it reminds me a lot of Disney. However I also love the rooms in Main Street USA especially when they've been decorated for Christmas and Halloween :maleficen :hmghost:

I don't know if its my favorite room, but I really enjoy just sitting and listening to the music at Splash Mountain.
It sounds so much like you are really there, all that's missing is a few screams every minute or so.
Splash is one of my favorite rides at the park :goodvibes

Hmm, where to start...they all have wonderful detail; and I change my mind according to my mood. But if I had to choose today, right now:

Main Street: Castle Forecourt--love the peacefulness and Walt and Mickey there.

New Orleans: Blue Bayou - you hear the most "interesting" comments and like the view.

Frontierland: The dock - again peaceful and the still of it all.

Fantasyland: The new Courtyard - colorful and busy or serene depending on which one you select in advanced mode.

Tomorrowland: One of the Tracks - you can drive!

Adventureland: Explorere's Tent for the night sky; Elephants Bathing Pool for the beauty of it all;

Most Favorite: Pirates Lobby -- I spend a lot of time there with friend(s)! LOL; and interesting conversation there as well!

Hmm i would have to say the tomorrowland hub i love sitting down next to the space mountain cars watching people get in and take off and overall it's a beautiful place to be with the people mover cars over head the arcade the teleporters it's really fun there you can see me alot there 2nd place is the matterhorn favorite ride in DLR bring it to WDW

My favorite room would have to be...Fantasyland Courtyard. It's the closes thing to WDW. It has the ride and i love how you can try to pull the sword from the stone. I heard a rumor from a girl on VMK and she said if you pull the sword, you could get a pan hat, or full alice ride set. Which you can buy so i think its a lie. But i kinda sorta believe the pan hat because you know they have th peter pan ride? And my favorite ride in fantasyland ( part of WDW ) is peter pan. I love it! :goodvibes
