I have reservations for CRT dinner, Akershus breakfast, and 1900 Park dinner, all on different days. I also have several other character reservations for my trip, too many to keep them all, so I need to do some paring down. I have the dining plan, and I know CRT takes 2 credits. Which of these princess ones is the best or a favorite? Or should I keep them all and try to cut somewhere else?

1900 Park Fare is probably the most fun, at least to my family. Admittedly, it has the least atmosphere/theming), but with the stepfamily as part of the character experience, it's much more unique and entertaining than just a room full of princesses. As for the room full of princesses option, CRT and Akershus are going to give you a very similar grouping of princesses. Eating in the castle is sort of a "must do" at least once, but there is a focus on (i.e., photo with) Cinderella, and you would already have the chance for a photo with her at 1900 (even if not a "formal" one). The photo at Akershus is with Belle.

If you're looking for bang-for-the-buck but still plenty of character interaction, 1900 and Akershus (especially breakfast) are the best bets. If you want the "wow" factor, it's hard to beat CRT at least once.

Keep CRT!!!

I haven't done the others you have listed. We have Breakfast Reservations at Akershus on our trip In October. I'm stalking MDE trying to find a Crystal Palace or 1900 with the expansion of BOG.

We've done CRT and 1900 PF. We love them both so much! But, we like CRT just a little bit better. Kids like the little gifts and extra magic, DH likes the food and we all love the ambiance. Don't be afraid to keep at least both of those though, because they will be different character experiences.

My family loved Akershus more than CRT, it was the same princesses (for the most part) and same interaction level. We went to lunch at both and Akershus had a better selection of food, for our picky eaters. Finally we had a meal where they didn't have chicken nuggets or mac and cheese. Plus we did not have to wait that long at Akershus, at CRT we waited 20 minutes past or reservation time to get seated and then you have to order your food. At Akershus we were seated 5 minutes after our reservation time and then we could decide on our entree and they had a buffet for the appetizers. Food to the table within 10 minutes of our reservation time.

Like a PP said, there is nothing like eating in the castle and everyone should do it once in their lifetime if they get the chance. With that being said, I have been twice and left underwhelmed in every category other than ambience. I've never been to 1900 Park Fare, but Akershus was amazing as far as the character interaction. We all felt that the characters were much more rushed at CRT, whereas they all spent ample time with us at Akershus and were all wonderful with our 2 year old. They also do a stroll around the dining room at Akershus with the children that they don't so at CRT. We also found the food(breakfast) much better than the dinner and lunch at CRT.

I've found that Akershus probably spent the most time with the kids. We've been there a few times and it seemed less rushed. CRT is very cool too and has a more..."special" feeling but now that we've done it I don't think we would spend the credits or cash to do it again. Akershus also had better food IMO but CRT's food was still good! 1900 Park Fare was fun but felt rushed and we spent much more time with the step sisters than we did with Cinderella or the Prince. Also, my youngest niece (was 2.5 at the time we went) was TERRIFIED of Lady Tremaine and very wary of the step sisters. We had to take her away or distract her any time Lady Tremaine was in view. As a huge Mary Poppins fan, I preferred 1900PF for breakfast!

I would say keep CRT if you've never done it so you can cross one off the Disney bucket-list!
