I like(d) both of them. They each had they're own style and it worked for them. I like how Drew Carey goofs around with the players and the models. He seems genuinely excited for the contestants when they win.
Same. Laying on the couch agreeably whacked to the eyeballs on cold meds, eating saltines and drinking orange juice, while my Mom and I tried to guess the prices of the products are some of my happiest memories.
I mean, Bob is an absolute legend and the GOAT of gameshow hosts. I do like Drew though and I like how he does special shows like April Fools and Halloween, etc. It's fun!
Bob! Dad and I have come to enjoy watching again the show with Drew. Not the same though ITA he is doing a great job especially right now during the pandemic.
Bob did the show for 35 years, Drew is still a rookie at only 15 years. Get back to me in 2042 LOL.
But seriously, the contestants make the show. I just remember my mom watching the show and being OUTRAGED at what the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Prices were for many items. Nobody would shop at a store that actually sold those items for prices that high.
I found this streaming station on The Roku Channel that shows old Bob Barker TPIR episodes from teh early 80's - It is super fun to watch! Car's were also costing between 6 and 8 grand - crazy!
