Favorite POTC Movie??

I don't know, I watched about 20 minutes of the 2nd one today and it's the only one I've seen so I guess that's my fav.

I voted for the first one, but each one has different things that make it my favorite.

The first one has the best story.
The second one explains a lot of the history of the characters.
The third has the best plot twists and a lot more humor, IMO.

As much as I love them all, I prefer the third one. It makes you hold your breath throughout the whole movie.

I love them all as the third best movie series ever (After Star Wars and Indiana Jones.), but I have to say that the first one clearly shines above the rest. The story is better then the other two (not saying that the sequels are bad, just not as good as the original.), the acting seems more real and fresh, and its humor was done better then the other two, IMHO.

I saw the first one (after having it bought for my mother) and really didn't like it (we ended up giving it away. In hindsight, we should have sold it away!). Because of this, there was no way I was seeing the other 2.
