Favorite places to eat with a toddler

For an upcoming trip to Disneyland park in early May, I'd like to check out a quick service restaurant I haven't tried yet for lunch or dinner. It will just be my husband, myself and our 2 year old, who has the attention span of, well, a 2 year old.

A few questions:

What would be a nice COOL place to escape the heat midday and sit for lunch? I was looking at maybe the Golden Horseshoe because it seems like it might be air conditioned. Is there entertainment there as well? That might be good for my toddler. Any other quick service air conditioned restaurant ideas (or TS other than BB or character meals)?

I was thinking that the French Market Restaurant might be a good idea for dinner since it is outside with (possibly) music or some other entertainment happening in the general area to entertain my 2 year old. And I'm guessing it should be nice and cool outside by dinnertime. Am I on the mark here? Any other suggestions?

Are you going to California Adventure? If so, Flo's VS would be fun. Sit by a window and watch a Red or Mater drive by, or even DJ's dance show.

No, not this time. Although we were there earlier this month and absolutely loved Flo's outdoor patio. We would park the kids and an adult there in the shade on the side patio near RSR while we did rider swap for RSR. We could wave to the kids as we went by. So amazing!

We love the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn (big enough to split!), but they open later for lunch because of the character breakfast there.

The Golden Horseshoe is fun, but it's always pretty crazy and loud in there, so it can actually make our kiddo a little hyper and is not that relaxing (unless you can get a box seat on the stage).

The Belle-themed restaurant is cute and indoors, but very popular and therefore crowded.

French market, plaza inn, redds rocket (ac not great food) , no seating really but if you need a quick snack Bengal BBQ.

These are some good ideas.I forgot about Hungry Bear. We will check some of these out on our next visit in two weeks!

Refreshment Corner is good if the pianist is playing. Also Jolly Holiday if you can get seating where you can see the pianist.
