Favorite places at the parks

What are your favorite places to sit down, relax and get away from the crowds in the parks? My favorite place is the American Pavillion at Epcot.

I like to chill out by the Koi fish/garden area in the Japan pavilion. Very relaxing atmosphere and it's not usually that crowded.

Yes! That is excellent as well for some rest and relaxation.

We Love the TTA, too. I also like the path behind Tomorrowland into ToonTown. We rarely see people there. It's very relaxing.

This is our favorite place too at MK. I also like to sit on a bench in Epcot in England and watch the people go by.

I agree with the TTA, one of my favs.

Lets see;

MK: TTA, a shady spot anywhere to people watch. I also enjoy the train, sometimes will stay on it for 4 round trips just to sit and relax.

Epcot: American Pavillion, UK area, Japan, also again, sounds silly, but Spaceship Earth, just again, to relax and cool off.

AK: pretty much any place that is shady, but also like to sit in the outdoor area of Tusker house, especially early in the day, just to sit and people watch.

MGM: don't have a fav spot, again mainly just anywhere there is a bit of shade and good people watching.

I do enjoy sitting near areas where there is live music/shows going on just to sit, relax and listen.

I use Epcot as my evening, after 3 to 4 days of park hopping, to just sit, and I mean sit, for like 3 to 4 hrs, waiting for Illuminations. I usually sit in Italy, but last trip in 2004, I sat in the Canada area, had a nice bench, next to a stand the had popcorn, soda, and beer, and again I was there for min of 2 hrs.

Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom! Plenty of shady spots to rest...DH and I like to take some time out there while waiting for Splash Mountain fastpass time to roll around.

I love that big fountain behind Spaceship Earth. I think it is called the Fountain of Nations or something like that and it is timed to music and at night it lights up. I like to find a spot to sit and just people-watch near the fountain.

I like sitting there so much that when I was in labor with my DS it was my "happy place" I tried to picture myself at! LOL!

The rocking chairs in front of the Liberty Tree Tavern, if you can get one. It is a great place to "people watch".

OK I realize this isnt in a park b ut I love to watch them blow glass in DTD. I could watch for hours.
