I can honestly say that I never get tired of any of the parks. If you forced me to pick one it would be MK, maybe more to do with being a childhood memory than anything else. That said, I could soak up the atmosphere in any of the parks and at a single point in time say 'This is my favorite park'.

Ever had a late dinner reservation at Epcot and walked through World Showcase with no one else there? Do it and Epcot becomes your favorite.

Ever traded a Jawa a glow stick, and after taking time to see Kylo and Chewbacca you STILL see the Jawa running around and thrilling kids with the glow stick you gave him 30-40 minutes ago? Do it an Hollywood Studios becomes your favorite.

Ever do 4 consecutive rides on Everest at park closing with no wait with your 10 & 12 year old on the first time you got to experience AK at night after years and years of 5 o'clock park closures (we mostly go in October)? Do it and Animal Kingdom becomes your favorite.

Ever witness the sheer joy your 4 year old daughter has riding Splash Mountain just 10 months after she defeated cancer? Do it and Magic Kingdom becomes your favorite.

Magic Kingdom is the only park I could even consider going to as my only park for a trip. A trip to any other park without going to MK would just feel like a waste to me. It is what sets Disney World apart from Universal or any other theme parks. It is what sets WDW above DLR for me. It's a perfect part that tells a complete story from start to finish. Though getting rid of the welcome show has damaged that story IMO.

I fully expect Pandora to solidify AK as my 2nd favorite, and for Star Wars to then jump right back over AK when it opens. But pre-Pandora, if ToT and Everest were in MK, I would probably just spend all day every day at MK. Maybe spend one day park hoping to the other 3.

love questions like this one. My vote went to MK as it's soooooo magical and immersive. Animal Kingdom and Epcot is both tied, both great but Epcot can use a little oomph...hoping for another country and more boat rides. Hollywood studios appear to be an afterthought when they put that park together. But my favorite ride is TSMM!

I think one thing this shows...and one of the things I love most...is that WDW offers such a variety of things for different people. The World Showcase is one of my least favorite things in WDW. Not saying I don't like it, because I do. But it's at the bottom of my list. For others, it's at or near the top. Some love the thrill rides, others love the nostalgia feel. IMO, for the most part, whatever your taste, WDW has something to offer.

I voted Magic Kingdom . . but it was a VERY hard decision. I absolutely love EPCOT. The fact that it is essentially two parks in one, the rides in the morning, then the afternoon wandering the world showcase. It is an amazing park.

Additionally, though Animal Kingdom has been lower on my list for many years, I am not so certain that it will be after I visit this year. The last time I was there was before Rivers of Light, the Tree of Life Awakenings, and Pandora, so there are many new things to see and experience, not the least of which is simply the park being open after dark now. Animal Kingdom may well make it closer to a three way tie for me once I see all the new goodness that it has to offer.

Magic Kingdom for me. It has that quintessential magic to it.
Next is a close tie between AK and Epcot, with AK in the lead. It's just a lovely park to walk around! Everything is so vibrant and the theming is wonderful. I like the size too; it's not too difficult to get from one area to the other.
I like Epcot quite a bit, but the sheer size of the place is a bit daunting. I think this park would be a great candidate for putting a People Mover into an active functioning role besides that of just being a ride. It would be lovely to ride from the front of the park to World Showcase in the back, with perhaps a stop or two along the way as it circles around. This would save a lot of wear and tear on the feet.
Lastly, is HS. This park just doesn't feel as magical to me as the others, and I don't care for the way it's laid out. It's not as easy to navigate without a lot of back tracking. That said, my absolute favorite ride, ToT is in this park. The theming is perfect and the ride thrilling! A park hopper ticket is worth it to me for this ride alone.

Prior to my first trip to WDW, which was in the early 90's, I read a travel book recommendation to do EPCOT the first day because it was large, spread out and there wouldn't be an overwhelming crush of people. For probably 20 of my 40 some trips I continued to do EPCOT first and Spaceship Earth was always my first ride, so for me the nostalgia really hits at EPCOT and it is my favorite. I think I end up there just about every evening during my trips.

I can't see how any park will ever trump Magic Kingdom. Currently its Magic Kingdom by a wide margin followed by AK which has a slim lead over DHS and way way way behind in the rear view mirror Epcot.

I have to agree with you regarding Animal Kingdom, back 6 years ago when AK was only open during the day, it was lower ranked....when we visited back this past October, they had evening hours and it was more impressive and beautiful and I fell more in love with AK overall as it's gotten better. So it now ranks tied or even 2nd place (after MK). I can't imagine with the new wonderous "hit" of Pandora. Overall, WDW is getting better and better and more magical! Can't wait to we all go back next time!!!!!

Magic Kingdom of course! Especially at night.

Yes, a thousand times yes!!! If you asked me to pick one favorite "scene" to look at in WDW, it has to be MK. Specifically standing at the train station end of Main Street and looking toward the castle at night. I've seen that dozens and dozens of times, and it still gives me goose bumps. Every time we leave MK at night, I have to stop and turn around for a minute just to take it in.

Epcot is my favorite park but it does need a new attraction. The other three park's have gotton something new or are getting something new.

I asked my 13 year old daughter this question and she said all of them. I said "what if you only had one day and had to pick a park?" She said "I would make sure I had a hopper and go to all of them." I think MK will always be my favorite, but I can't imagine picking a park to skip. The other 3 are of equal importance to us. The only thing I can do without if I have to is WS (not a shopper) but I do like to eat there.

AK is my favorite. I feel like it's a park of hidden treasures in regards to the theming. Every time you turn a corner there's something to explore or some neat little detail.
I love the walking trails and FOTLK.

One day is never enough to get everything done we want to do.
And I don't do Everest or Kali, and we haven't been since 2013 so all the nighttime entertainment wasn't around.
Now that AK is open late and Pandora is done our next trip we're planning two days for the park. :)

I have to pick EPCOT on this one, it's been my favorite since an early age. My family enjoys exploring World Showcase, learning about the different cultures, eating the food and watching the street performers. We pretty much end every night there and until I visit EPCOT it really doesn't feel like a Disney vacation.

First Reaction...
MAGIC Kingdom... but I have to say that I'm really a Huge Animal Kingdom fan... and that's even before I get to experience Pandora.
I just love the animals, attractions, shows, theming and all. Then again, I buy yearly local zoo passes too :butterfly

Epcot! I love Magic Kingdom. Really, I do. But the crowds, especially at night, just don't always make for the most magical experience. :)

I love Future World, though I know it needs updating. World Showcase, especially in the evenings, is just the best. We are big fans of all the Festivals, so that is definitely part of it.

DH and I had a trip by ourselves just last week. We just happened to be walking through WS during the part of Illuminations when the countries start lighting up. Unbelievable. We could see the globe, the fireworks, and the countries being lit as we walked. It wasn't crowded as we walked since pretty much everyone else was staked out along the water. It was perfect. :)

On shorter trips, we do skip DHS. We are big fans of AK, even before Pandora came along!

Leaving out the Magic Kingdom, because for me it is the epitome of Magic and Happiness and is miles and miles ahead of the other parks, I choose Epcot. I adore World Showcase. I just wish FutureWorld (which reminds me a bit of Logan's Run) would get some serious love. After that it's a tie between the Studios and Animal Kingdom. I just love it all, though.
