Favorite non-ride things to do at Universal?

Eating Harry Potter ice cream
Watching Celestina Warbeck and the banshees
Walking through all the gift shops.
Listening to the Mystic Fountain over at IOA.
Getting a Veinte Ice Tea from Starbucks and just wandering around

There is a new breakdance show that's right in front of the Animal Show at UO. Talented dancers and the only ones with the potential of getting motion sickness is them. :)

I love the Raptor Encounter. I think that it is one of the most underrated experiences at Universal. People hear that it isn't a ride and/or see the line and walk away. I never mind a wait as watching other people do it is almost more fun than your actual experience. A couple of years ago, you could watch from outside the area, but they've added a bunch of foliage and took away that option.

That happened to me last July. There was a couple eyeing the queue I was waiting in for the Raptor Encounter and they asked me what exactly it was. As soon as I did, they shrugged and walked off.

My daughter keeps trying to talk me into stopping for the Raptor Encounter. I usually say no, figuring the line will be long and it's more for kids. I think we'll check it out this year, maybe later in the day.
