Favorite non-ride experiences?

An evening walk around the resort. When its quiet and everyone is back from the parks. Listening to the sounds of the area.

My family is in the go-all-day-long camp, so a midday Table Service dining experience ranks very high for us, especially when it's hot.

Sitting down in the A/C, enjoying the atmosphere and food, rehydrating, and relaxing for that ~1 hr. gives us the stamina we need to hit the park hard again throughout the afternoon.

One of our favorites in Dec 2021 was to get our picture taken by as many photo pass photographers as possible. It was out honeymoon and we wanted a lot of pics with the Christmas decorations and trees plus all of the other places. The cast member in GE was way cool and took extra time with us because we had bride/groom hats on and just married buttons.

*Yeehaw Bob at POR (plus river roost has great food!)

*walking around the boardwalk (also Abracadabar and the ice cream parlor)

*I wouldn’t call this relaxing but we did do the survey bike ride around POR

* baseline tap house, backlot express seating, Fairfax faire (rip the amazing Tex Mex bbq hybrid food that was there) and over by the old Pixar area in DHS are great places to chill and people watch

*DAK has many great little areas. Love saying hi to the otters!

*EPCOT all around world showcase has amazing areas to sit and relax-especially UK and Canada

*MK we really don’t have a specific place to relax as that the park we are constantly going and going

*Disney Springs the Landing area is a fun place to sit and people watch. Also all the random street performers and groups that perform in the little outdoor arena across from WoD

At Epcot my DH loves "that English Pub" He'll get his Guiness and we try to find a table, sit for a bit and just enjoy...

Mini Golf; a visit to Tri-Circle D ranch at the campground; riding any of the boats; visiting the animals at AKL; Ice Cream in France (why did it take me 13 years to try this place???? LOL!!!).

This idea will certainly not appeal to those that enjoy sleeping in but waking up at 0500, pouring an oversized cup of coffee and taking it to the lobby to enjoy some alone time. This is the best time of the day to reflect, catch up on the news, and enjoy how peaceful everything is! This is best done at CCV, AKV, and even Boardwalk IMO. However there are plenty of spots to chill and just watch the world go by.

I do the same thing. I get up, let everyone else stay asleep and either sit in the lobby with coffee or take a stroll around the property, look around, sit by the pool, etc. just get some peaceful time, while awake, before I run for the rest of the day. Very relaxing
