Favorite non-headliners or "underdog" attractions

It always makes me smile when people speak fondly of a lesser-loved attraction. Outside of those that require a mad rush at rope drop or a midnight reservation several months in advance, which attractions brighten your day?

For me, there are the not-so-shameful:
-Spaceship Earth would be the biggest can't-miss for me outside of the major headliners. I think I must have ridden it on my one childhood trip at age 7. It's a huge swell of nostalgia each time I enter, but I also find it genuinely interesting. I took my 20-year-old cousin on it last year during her first trip. Now, she finds the dark rides somewhat boring (this girl had me ride RnR and ToT multiple times in a row), but at the end of SE, she said, "This one is kinda interesting. It makes you think."

-I don't think Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid had the warm reception Disney was hoping for, but I enjoy it. I rode it twice in one trip. I'm biased because it's been my favorite movie since it released when I was 4, but there you have it.

-Many people seem to think Rafiki's Planet Watch is a waste of time, but I like seeing the facilities and listening to the animal keepers. My husband got to hold a big snake back there, and we saw a medical procedure. Maybe you just have to go at the right time. I admit the petting zoo of goats could perhaps be improved upon. Not that I don't love petting sweet goats!

-I think Monster's Inc Laugh Floor is really, really funny. I laugh hysterically each time. Eh, maybe this should go in the shameful category based on the ridiculous extent to which I enjoy it.

And the pretty shameful:
I'd willingly sit through the Tiki Room. It's not that bad. ...I'm avoiding eye contact with you all right now.

You don't need to be ashamed The Laugh Floor is something we do on each Magic Kingdom day (sometimes twice in a day lol)

I would also add the People Mover. We like to ride this over and over as DD's ride Space Mountain over and over.

Also, DD16 is a history buff and loves Hall of Presidents- funny thing ... we're Canadian but she still loves it I go with her to HoP for the A/C as we travel to WDW in August

My son loves IASW and Spaceship Earth so we usually end up riding them both multiple times. We're also big fans of the People Mover and the and the grand Fiesta Tour.

My husband and my dad both must see the Hall of Presidents and American Adventure EVERY trip

Spaceship Earth isn't my favorite ride, but I like it. And it IS one of DD's favorite rides.

DH and I love Living with the Land. It's my favorite ride in EPCOT.

We also like the Enchanted Tiki Room a lot. While I've never been, DH and DD also like the Laugh Floor quite a bit (I'm making a point to go this next trip).

I don't hate any of the rides or attractions I've ever been on/seen at WDW. Some I don't feel the need to go on every trip, but I'd rather be on a 'bad' ride at WDW than doing many other things. Also, I actually prefer some of the rides I mentioned above to some of the more popular ones (esp Test Track and TSMM).

Disneyland, but same idea. I LOVE LOVE the Casey Jr. train. And the Storybook Canal boats.

At WDW, we always ride Figment. I adore the geeky little short films at the end of Spaceship Earth.

I know everyone will think I'm crazy, and I know a lot of people hate the area, but we love Primeval Whirl! Even though it's basically a glorified crazy mouse coaster we always have so much fun on it... and we love the corny theming!!

These have all been mentioned, but CoP, Laugh Floor, Tiki Room and the Peoplemover.

The Seas with Nemo. It just makes me happy the whole time I'm riding it. And O Canada. We listen to the music from both of them when we're home.

Ooh, and Animation Academy!!!

Our first ride ever at WDW was the Magic Carpets when my daughter was five. It has been our first ride for every trip since. Our second must do is Mickey's Philharmagic. My son was 13 on that first trip and that was his favorite thing. We are pretty sentimental about those two.

We also like Voyage of the Little Mermaid (Ariel is my daughter's favorite), Monster Inc. Laugh Floor, and the aquarium after the Nemo ride in Epcot.

Another Country Bears fan here! I was heartbroken when they took it from Disneyland and refused to go on the Winnie-the-Pooh ride that replaced it for years. It's a must do when we go to WDW.

It's a Small World, the People Mover, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Pangani Forest Trail and the Maharajah Jungle Trek are my other must do's. Basically, I like the time sucker attractions.
