It looks like my family and I (DH, DS10, DS7, DD4) will have one extra evening in Epcot than previously thought. One of those evenings we will have dinner at Akershus (which we enjoyed last time), so I'm looking for another restaurant in the world showcase. My kids are pretty picky which is why I'm leaning towards Via Napoli with its pizza. Any other suggestions?

Via Napoli is a good choice, especially with picky children. I would probably go with that. We had a good meal at the Coral Reef and there is a huge aquarium inside. You can watch the sharks swim as you eat your dinner. The kids would probably enjoy that, but I would look at the children's menu first to see if there is something on it that your kids would like to eat. Coral Reef often gets mixed reviews, but we enjoyed it.

Biergarten has some good choices and something for everyone to eat....also at dinners...they have an oompa band that sings and plays instruments and people can dance ..I like also Via Napoli,

There are so many non character restaurants to choose from in Epcot. It really all depends on what type of meals your family likes. For my family we really like Biergarten, Via Napoli, and Chefs de France (DH and I really like San Angel Inn but our kids aren't a huge fan of it). With that said, I would check out the different menus and get a consensus of what each member of your family likes and then go from there.

Via Napoli and Chefs de France are two of my favorites! I seem to remember enjoying Rose and Crown as well.

Concur with Via Napoli and Teppan Edo

VN .. has pizza and pasta ... big place, a little loud, fun
TE .. has rice with Chicken/Shrimp/Steak ... you sit around the grill and the chef does a great show as you eat.

my 2 DS are fairly picky and both eat well at either place

Semi-related question: do most of the ws table service restaurants have restrooms in the restaurants? I don't see them on the maps but maybe that is because they are suppose to be for diners only.

LoL...>Survey says::::::: Via Napoli by a landslide..Hehe.

My kids are adventurous so for us they enjoyed Tokyo Dining, but I'd have to say maybe Coral Reef for you guys...The giant wall of fish, will keep them entertained for sure.. Food is ok as well, and pretty good service too.:thumbsup2

Most, if not all do. They're often located in a corridor between the FS and associated QS restaurants.
