Favorite non-ADR restaurants

In each park, what are your favorite places to eat that don't require ADRs? We booked a last minute trip and didn't get the usual ADR's we like to have, so just winging it with more casual fare this go round. Curious to know what we should try in each park. Thanks!

If you still want to eat at TS restaurants, you should be able to get something, even day of. They might not be the "must do" places but you might find you enjoy some of the others. We never book ADRs in advance, just walking around the park day of and have never had any problems finding somewhere to eat. If you want QS though here are my go tos:

MK - Pecos Bills, although we tried the Plaza last trip and it wasn't bad. It was pretty crowded but it is a sit down restaurant with servers who wait on you and doesn't require ADRs.

Epcot - Anywhere in WS, seriously we like everything in WS and wouldn't hesitate to eat at any of the QS. As far as table service the only ones we avoid in Epcot are the buffets and character meals, we don't like either.

AK - Yak and Yeti QS is pretty good and not very expensive. We got same day ADRs at Tiffins and loved it, we also enjoyed eating at Nomad Lounge at Tiffins.

HS - We actually like Backlot Express and HBD outside walk up.

This isn't in a park but Big River Grille just outside Epcot. Or ESPN in nearly the same place. Burgers and beer.

Not in a park, but we got a same day ADR at Trattoria Al Forno and really enjoyed it. Also pretty easy to get a last minute ADR at Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs.

Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot's WS is a good pick too, we've never made an ADR here & have always gotten a table. The food & the entertainment are terrific as well.

We like the Yorkshire Fish-n-Chips in Epcot-UK and the counter service Mexican Place in Epcot-Mexico.

At HS we will eat at ABC Commissary if we don't have ADRs at Sci-Fi. Typical park food, but not bad in a pinch.

AK: Flametree BBQ is always worth it. We actually plan this QS.

MK: Casey's Corner is a must. Great for pre-fireworks or pre-parade eating. It is always busy but the lines move quickly.

Mk- We like Columbia Harbor house, Pecos Bills, Casey's Corner
Epcot- We like the Mexican counter service the nachos are delicious!
AK- Love the Flame Tree BBQ
DHS- We usually eat at the ABC commissary but its not that great.
Resort wise- Captain Cooks at the Polynesian, Trails end at Fort Wilderness (we usually make a reservation but you may could walk up)

Due to my professional obligations, I can never plan very far out, a month or 2 is about all I can hope for. Just trying the app regularly will work. That said, my "must dos" aren't typical, Bluezoo, Marrakesh or Spice Road Table, we try for any table at V&A, or CG. Eating late is the key it seems. I can't imagine eating dinner at 6:00, so a 9-10 dinner works for me. Just be flexible and I bet you can get almost anything! Good luck!

Columbia Harbour House is actually one of our preferred places to eat at MK, even over most table service options. We also really like Sunshine Seasons at Epcot...there's something for everyone and yummy desserts. I love the pork chop meal and the strawberry shortcake there! We had a really nice lunch at Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West as a walk up on our last trip as well.
