We always have to start our day with a snickerdoodle. They are thick and always so soft and chewy in the middle, a bit of a crunch on the outside. Just like they are supposed to be! They are at the little candy story accross the street from the Carnation Cafe. Right next to the lockers. Soooo yummy.

I vote for the pomme frites, too. And the pickels and pineapple spears! This is making me hungry.

I couldn't get enough of the Oreo brownies in Pooh's corner - I had two big brownies in 2 days there this February!

oh yes the food!!! Thats practically one of the best things about going to DL...

1)Okay Dole Pineapple whips are a MUST
2)Churros- obviously (and why does WDW not sell hardly any churros. strange)
3)CREAM CHEESE filled pretzels...the best things ever. You can get them at the Coca Cola store on end of mainstreet, and the pretzel cart by matterhorn.
4)BREAD BOWLS!!! I'm going to have to say Pacific Wharf Cafe because they are the only place in DLR that sells the cheddar and broccoli...yummmyyy...
5)And the chip and dale pretzels they sell at the gift shops...must be like the popcorn, something about them...could be all in my head, but they are THE best pretzels around.

I'm hungry now!

Pommes frites and a mint julep from Cafe' Orleans! And a peppermint patty from Candy Palace or Pooh's Corner!

Dole whip for sure, churros, and bacon wrapped asparagus at Bengal BBQ, but I would stay away from the chicken or beef, the flavor was awesome but both times I have tried them they were so tough...might just have been bad luck but it will keep me from getting them a third time....everything else at DL is so good though, hard to pick just one fave snack! oh also LOVE the pumpkin muffins with the cream cheese frosting! yum, when I was there in Sept they didnt have those out yet :-(

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but during the Christmas season go to the Blue Ribbon Bakery on Main Street for wonderful Christmas cookies and hot chocolate made with steamed milk. They are a wonderful treat while watching the fireworks. Don't get the hot chocolate from the place across the street, where they sell kitchen items and goodies. The cookies there are sometimes good, but the hot chocolate is the institutional kind we all enjoyed in the college dorms and similar places.

The best popcorn is from the popcorn cart in Town Square. I don't know why, it just is.

The new frozen lemonade. I came across these at WDW Animal Kingdom a couple of years ago and was hooked. I believe Disneyland introduced them this year. Just the right amount of lemony sweetness and tartness.

If the lines at the candy store on Main Street are long, trudge all the way to the back of the park at Critter Country and go to the souvenir shop past the pile of Pooh ride. There's a small candy store in there that sells a small selection of handmade candies and cookies without the long lines.

At DCA, the Boudin Bakery's shrimp salad or clam chowder sourdough bowls are a wonderful large snack or lunch. One of the best deals in the resort. And the Mickey Mouse shaped bread you can purchase is really cute, but it seems a bit sacraligeous to eat our main mouse.

Enjoy!
