We got back about 2 weeks ago and our favourites were
- Mickeys unsalted pretzel
- Cream cheese filled pretzel
- White choc dipped mickey ears from Penny Arcade
- Pomme Frites! so good

Peanut brittle sold at Market House (and a few other places). Love that! And waffle cones. :lovestruc

I can't believe no one has mentioned the chocolate dipped bananas! So good, I have like two a day if I can!

Mine have all been mentioned, but here they are:

CHURROS
CORN DOGS
DOLE WHIPS
PUMPKIN FUDGE

My favs are:

Mickey rice krispie with choc. dipped ears (which is really weird because in "real life" ;) I am not a rice krispie fan)

Tigger Tails from Pooh Corner (um, yeah, I've tried most of the varieties and they're all good!)

Popcorn (don't know what it is about DL popcorn but my family was fighting over it)

Free tortillas from the tortilla factory in DCA (and the even better free dozen tortillas on your birthday!!)

Twice now I have tried the Mickey Shortbread cookies and both times they were really dry, so I don't recommend those.

Mickey head pretzel
Rice Krispie treat with M&M's - very surprised I liked it, bought it for the kids and thought it looked a bit yucky but then tried it and  !!

I love Bengal BBQ. I always get the chicken skewers. I read somewhere on here about a recipe and I am going to surprise dbf with them someday. :)

I also love the corn dogs from Corn Dog Castle! We had it before it closed and they were so good!

I also really like their fruit. It always seems fresher than anything I've ever had.

What are Pomme Frites? :)

French fries with garlic and stuff on top and a dipping sauce. Only at Cafe Orleans. Very yummy!

I did try making Bengal BBQ at home and it was wonderful! I made the Banyan Beef sauce. I have also used that sauce when making chinese food. Recently I put it with Japanes noodles. Very good. Here is the thread with pics of what we did.

My wife's favorite is the honey pot which last time we were there could only be found in the store next to splash mountain.

I am really looking forard to trying French fries with garlic and stuff on top and a dipping sauce. Only at Cafe Orleans in another 12 days! :dance3:

For the past seven years i have stared at those carmel apples and wanted one so badly at every single trip, but braces always stopped me. SO in 12 days (since i just got my braces off last week.) I WILL be getting a carmel apple!

but my familys faves are.......
Rice crispy treat in pooh corner. (THERE HUGE!)
Bread bowl w/ broc, and cheese soup.
Churros
pickles
I'm sure theres plenty more but cant quite remember

Operator: We are going to be there at the exact same time! 12 days and counting down!

What are Tigger tails?

thanks!

A true Tigger Tail is 3 large marshmallows on a stick, dipped in caramel, and then dipped in orange flavored & colored white chocolate with chocolate stripes on it. I had never had one before until my trip in March and now I'm totally hooked!

But they also have other kinds.......like marshmallows dipped in caramel, then rolled in nuts, and then dipped in dark chocolate or milk chocolate. Or there are just the plain ones dipped in chocolate without the nuts.

I wish I had a picture to show you......maybe someone else can post one??

Some of my favorites:

chocolate croissant at Blue Ribbon Bakery
fudge
chocolate-covered marshmallows from Marceline's
Rice Krispie treats

I want to try a Tigger Tail when we're there next month!! :cloud9:

My favorite is the coconut macaroons drizzled w/ chocolate at Blue Ribbon Bakery. :lovestruc

The Pineapple Spears were especially delicious and very refreshing, and a good size comparatively for the price. (All of the fruit we got was really good. The whole fruits, packaged fruits sold at the fruit stands all tasted fresh and crisp, although its definitely a little pricey compared to what you would pay outside the parks, but so is everything else...)

The Skewers are all good at Bengals BBQ.

We also love the Sourdough Bread bowls (breakast, soups and salads). They are an excellent value for how much they fill you up even when you share!! Maybe they don't qualify as a snack to most, but since they its usually in between meals and we share them they are a snack for us!

I could keep going on and on, but there is one favorite savory treat and one favorite sweet that have absolutely stolen my heart. I had them both for the first time on our trip last month and no trip will be complete without having them multiple times from here on out!

Hand down favorite Savory Treat : POMMES FRITES (I don't need to describe them since someone else already has and there is a picture too)

Favorite Sweet: DOLE WHIPS (everything at the Dole stand is good, but the Whips are the best value for your dollar and my favorite)

Mickey head pretzels
Pommes Frites & Gumbo from Cafe' Orleans
Funnel Cake
Bengal Skewer from Bengal BBQ
Fudge & Tigger Tale from Pooh's Corner

When wanting a "good for you" snack...Fresh Fruit (Totally agree with Sherry E that Disneyland has the BEST fruit)

Now I'm hungry and its not even close to lunch time here. :confused3

In DL - the pickles, yummy!

You and my wife must be sisters or something :lmao:

We went in Sept using the (then) Costco deal for DAPs, which gave us each a $50 gift card. I'll bet she used her entire card on pickles! :rotfl: Kinda pricey (I think they were $2.59 each), but yes, quite good. The CMs running the store outside Jungle Cruise recognized her after her first few pickle purchases!

-Bob

For my hubby the popcorn popcorn::

For my boys the churros ::yes::

For me the the almond mocha ice cream sundae...........so good! :thumbsup2
