Favorite Mushy Gushy Movie.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

NEVER

SEEN

NOTEBOOK

OR TITANIC?!?!?!??!??!??!?!

Where do you people live, the boonies?
That's 'Sonya' for the country/where the hill billys live.
OT-But boonies rhymes with 'goonies' and that's a pretty good movie too! :thumbsup2

I do go for the softer movies when I am watching for the entertainment value and there isn't enough educational content to justify a documentary. Reality is harsh enough by itself so I never understood the appeal of slasher films.

The rather gushy film that sticks in my memory is "Just Like Heaven" staring Reese Witherspoon. It allowed enough comedy to deal with a sad subject matter without making everybody leave the theater feeling down. Remember this one anyone? Reese is the doctor who becomes a patient who becomes a mischievious ghost to the new tenant in her apartment.

I've never seen them either and I have no desire to.

Ladder 49 makes me cry, especially the fact that it's all based on memories the guy is thinking of because he knows he's not going to make it out of the fire.
Uhm...POTC: AWE makes me cry at the end...like seriously..a lot. :D
So does POTC: DMC at the end with Jack.

I don't watch these kind of movies much..

The Notebook
titanic
A walk to Remember

and I cry when I watch We are Marshall

and Rent

No, i live in Canada, where the Titanic happened TYVM :P

so hah :P
You just have the movie, i just have THE WHOLE FREAKING SHIP.

:lmao:

The Notebook.... oh my god, I cry so much during that movie!

And Rent... the movie and on stage!

Ladder 49 MAKES ME BAWL. Like I don't even get through halfway through the movie and I cry. And the ending... with the song (Shine your light? I don't remember the name).

Ahaha nice.
Most of the people who didn't make it out alive are buried in a cemetery in Halifax. I'd like to see it some day. And the grave of the 'unknown child'.

And I'm just going to list movies that make me cry, instead of love ones xD

Rudy makes me cry, like the part where his best friend dies. He was the only one to believe in him.

A Walk to Remember always makes me cry. The book makes me cry more than the movie... I dunno why though.

I also cried the other night while watching VICTOR (The Victor Davis story). It was ridiculously sad to see his family's reactions when they were told he was nothing more than a body that could be kept alive on a machine with not thoughts.

Omg titanic was on TNT the other night. I watched the WHOLE 4 hours of it. (with commercials it's 4 hours long, 7-11) I hadn't seen it in forever and it was SO good. I want it on dvd. We have it on VHS in the basement but I'm too lazy to find it.

The Notebook's good, I never cried watching it. I've never really cried watching a movie. I cried watching American Dreams, the pilot episode when they find out JFK was shot.

I teared up while watching Rent.

(it's a REAL titanic exhibit btw, not of the movie heh)

all this titanic talk makes me want to watch it!
-goes to watch titanic-

I have it on video tape too. I borrowed it from my friend (she had never opened it) like two years ago and I refuse ot give it back to her.

I cry at the end of RENT every time without fail.

**SPOILER** I always cry from Without You through Angel's memorial and even at the end when Mimi "dies".

Hey, no one's mentioned any cartoons! Lilo and Stitch. So cute. Or any of the princess movies (ie Aladdin, Little Mermaid, etc) princess:

I always cry when I watch Titanic, Forrest Gump, and The Notebook.
My favourite love movies though are The Notebook and Just Like Heaven.

RENT, A Walk to Remember, the newer version of Little Women, Titanic...yeah, I always cry in those. Unfortunately I've never seen The Notebook, but I'm sure if I did I would cry hysterically during that one too

::yes:: Shine Your Light makes me cry. The lyrics are really sad.

The Notebook
Titanic
Walk the Line
Pride and Prejudice
*the most beautiful way to tell someone you love them, "You have bewitched me body and soul and I love, I love, I love you OMG MAKES ME CRY EVERY TIME!!!! and i've seen it about 100000000 times:lovestruc :sad1:*

i'll think of more soon...
