Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)

AHH Wait....it comes with a story. When I was 7 years old my mother took my sister (6 years old) and I to see Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It was a cold, snowy day, I mean really snowy!!!! We didn't have a lot of money when I was little so going to the movies was a big treat! When we got to the theatre, we were so late because of the snow that the movie was sold out. The weather was really bad. We had taken several city buses to get to the theatre. I saw my mother's heart breaking for my sister and me. So she put on her biggest smile, bought tickets for the next show and we walked across the street to a diner. We had french fries and coke. We sat by the window watching the snow fall harder and harder. We laughed and sang songs to the mini jukebox in our booth. We feed the jukebox what little change we had and bopped away the time. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is not so much my favourite Disney movie, but it's definately my favourite Disney movie memory ~ thank you for this gift ~ I just got to think of my mother in a beautiful light. I am grateful for this thread. Sandra

The Jungle Book is my favorie movie. As for my favorite park? Well, it's probably MGM; however, there is something "old school" in me that allows me to enjoy a long weekend spent at the Contemporary or Polynesian and visiting only the MK.

I was 9 year old, when my DGM took my DSis and I on the High Speed Line into Philadelphia around Christmas time to see Mary Poppins, that was the beginning of my addiction to Disney, so I would have to say Mary Poppins.

Favorite park, toss up between MK and MGM.
