Inspired by all the movie threads of late and watching Robin Hood this afternoon lead me to think about my favorite theme song. Robin Hood has a very good one as does Up Close and Personal and Sleepless in Seattle. What are your favorites?

Love the ones mentioned. Although the song from Up Close and Personal makes me really weepy. Lately, though, I've been listening to the soundtrack from Chocolat...all instrumental and different.

How about these:

Lift us up where we belong-Officer and a Gentleman
Flashdance and Fame were cool for their time
Heart will go on - Titanic (I know we all got sick of it but it is a good song)
unchained melody - ghost (our song)
Have you ever loved a woman (Don Juan De Marco)

I even like the theme song from 8 Mile (I actually work on 8 Mile). Generally I find Eminem offensive but I got a better appreciation for his music after watching this movie. He still offends me but his mastery of languange and cadence is pretty awe inspriring.

Of course, I love the songs from Disney movies. My favorite, though, is 'You Can Fly'...although for some reason I can never remember the words.

the breakfast club "anthem" is one of my favorites.

Die Another Day/World is not Enough: James Bond movies
Come What May:Moulin Rouge
Gollum's Song: Two Towers
Lose Yourself:8 Mile

I love the theme songs from Rocky and Beverly Hills Cop.

(I'm watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves right now...agian also)

The theme from Sabrina is one of my favorites. John Williams really wrote some beautiful themes for that movie.....:D

John WIlliams is AWESOME
Gotta like Footloose, Flashdance, Rocky(Eye of the Tiger & Burning Heart)

Okay, I know it's not a movie, But I've been singing the "Friends" theme song ALL day! I even had people at work teasing me about it! OH! And I mustn't forget liek the ENITRE soundtrack from "A Knight's Tale" (My personal fave song on that st-- "Pieces" by Dan Powell)
