Ok, so I’m hijacking this from another board, I just think it’s really fun. So, what is your favorite Disney moment? The moment you knew the mouse had a little magic in him, just for you.

Oh wow! I was probably like 5 or so and I remember sitting on Main St in Disneyland waiting for the Electrical Parade to start. I remember thinking "This has got to be the prettiest thing I have ever seen!". So many lights and I was in such awe. It had to be done with pure magic! How else could they get the princesses' dresses to sparkle like that! From then on I was hooked! The magic has continued there throughout my life. I am now 30 and I still go to Disneyland as often as possible. We were there this last May for the POTC 3 premiere. Talk about dreams coming true! We met Geoffery Rush, Tony Baxter, Janice Dickinson, Wilmer Valderama and a bunch of others! We didnt get to meet Johnny Depp but we were right on the red carpet and he was so close to us! Then the next day we went to Club 33 for lunch! Talk about a magical weekend! princess: I am sure there is much more magic where that all came from. :wizard:

My boyfriend and I were apart last fall doing our teaching internships before we graduated this past December. We were also about 2 hrs apart in the spring while he began teaching and I did the Disney College Program!

This past Spring during my college program my boyfriend, dad, and grandfather came to visit. We spent the day in Epcot...my dad took my grandfather back early, and my BF and I ended up running over to MK. We rushed around, did the People Mover, I think. Maybe another ride? We ended up behind the castle and watched Wishes...and then tried to run over to jump on Thunder Mountain...it was closed! We then made our way over to Pirates, which was closed too! :rotfl: Yeah, the park closed earlier than we thought! Even without the rides, it was time for us to enjoy each other's company in an amazing place!

I never thought I would have such a good time in the Magic Kingdom without any rides! It was wonderful.

Another time this past spring...my friend Kelly came to visit. We were walking around during the Flower and Garden Festival (Kelly loves flowers and wants to open a flower shop) when she decided she needed a new facebook picture (hers was currently her wedding, which was over a year ago!). So we spent about 20 minutes sitting on the ground and taking pics of each other in front of the rose bushes! LOL we got some weird look, and tried not to block anybody's way! i was laughing so hard i was crying, that's always a GREAT feeling.

i gotta say, everytime i see those fireworks, i feel a little of the magic lol... theyre just awe inspiring

I gotta agree with PowerMonkey, When I first saw those fireworks that was magic that stayed in my heart and it gets renewed everytime I see them or hear that music.

The last time I was there (2 years ago) we were in Magic Kingdom, and had just finished watching the fireworks. I was there with my school choir, and my friends and I decided that before we left we had to ride our favorite ride one more time...Splash Mountain! So we headed over there, knowing we had to leave to go back home on our buses in about an hour. We boarded the ride and promptly got stuck...and started going, got stuck right before the drop, then started going, then we go stuck down in the canyons for THIRTY MINUTES! Needless to say, we were late, and our director was furious, but the five of us that were on that ride had so much fun. We couldn't even be ashamed for being late, we were in Disney World!
