Favorite Moderates

Out of all moderates except POFQ which is your favorite and why? We plan to stay in a moderate in May with our 2 sons (5 and 3) and trying to decide which one to go with. Basing it on best food court, quick buses and closest to the parks.

POFQ is our favorite..... if we had to stay anywhere else, it would be PO Riverside. Caribbean Beach seems too large (although we never stayed there). Coronado was ok, we did stay there but we had a rental car, so no bus issue.

POFQ is my favorite as well. If y had to stay somewhere else it would be POR. I hated CBR and it is the only Disney Resort I will not return to.

French quarter is our favorite too. It's always the most expensive and we wanted to try something different but I'm thinking it might be better to just stay there anyway.

The other 3 moderates are all large, and spread out. It can be a hike from your room to the food court and to the bus stops (there are multiple at each).

I, too, am a huge fan of POFQ.

POFQ is my favourite. POR is my second favourite. CSR was okay, but nothing special. We visited CBR, walked around, checked out their food court, but the size of that place turns me off.

POFQ is my favorite as well. If y had to stay somewhere else it would be POR. I hated CBR and it is the only Disney Resort I will not return to.

Exactly my feelings. Love POFQ, Just had a great stay at Riverside. CBR was just too big for me and my sons

The 2 PO resorts are our favorites. We think POR has the best FC, family entertainment with Yee Haa Bob and of course the boat to DS.

CSR! Great location with quick rides to all the parks, a nice main pool area and we love business class with lounge access

We fell in love with Port Orleans Riverside. We had an alligator bayou room and just loved it! If you book a preferred room it is not a far walk to the food court. It is a nice peaceful resort with a really cute backstory on the architectural differences of each building. We also enjoyed having the opportunity to see Yeehaa Bob at the River Roost Lounge. Also we had a much better experience with the buses at Port Orleans Riverside than we did at Caribbean Beach Resort.

CBR is definitely our favorite.

POFQ is my favorite. Second favorite is POP. Also like POR. POFQ because of its smaller size and quaintness, Pop because of the upbeat fun feeling, and POR because of food court and mansions and Alligator Bayou.

I'm not sure why but CBR doesnt seem to get the love it deserves AND also has a bad rep. It is by far our favorite moderate, waaaay over the Ports (the ONLY advantage at POFQ and POR was the boat to DS and that definately didn't make up for the other differences)
Maybe I'm kind of glad about that, because no matter how busy it is at the parks and on the buses, it still fels like we are in a very quiet, peaceful setting! And I definately don't get that feeling anywhere else at WDW!
Love CBRs main pool and quiet pools, and REALLY like Shutters! Such a good restaurant!
We actually liked it better than when we stayed at the Poly!
So my vote (and my heart) is for CBR!

CSR hands down. Their CM are amazing, manager is awesome and we love the pool. I can never say enough about everything there

We have stayed at:
1. POR and it was okay.
2. POFQ, we really liked it and may go back again, but just haven't had a chance
3. CBR LOVED it, it's a lot of fun and though CSR is bigger, this one just seems HUGE to us!
4. FW Cabins were SO MUCH fun and the resort has excellent activities but you DEFINITELY need to rent a golf cart for the length of your stay or bring your own in order to truly enjoy it!
