What's your favorite moderate for young kids. We'll be going in December so I'm not sure if we'll get to swim. But I'm sure we'll need a rest from the parks every day. Since the prices are all the same it's hard to decide. We'll be booking connecting rooms so space won't be our issue.

What's your favorite. Why? :earsboy:

How young? POFQ is my favorite for being so compact. No matter where your room is, your close to everything (food court, pool, and bus stop). The boat to DTD is also nice. Oh, and beignets. :earboy2:

When my daughters were little we loved POFQ (not that I still don't!). It is easy to get around, you're never far from the main pool, and my daughters loved the pool slide when they were smaller :sunny:

How young is young? My DD loved CSR the first time we went there. She was 5. She loved the pool area and playground. Check out pics on my website below.

Another vote for POFQ. We love it for all of the reasons mentioned in the above posts...have a wonderful trip :)

We are POFQ fans. We have 3 sons who are 5, 3 and 1. We're staying there for the 3rd time in May...cannot wait!!! :cloud9: We love the theming and feel, the serpent slide is perfect for our little ones, we love the boat to DTD, the compactness, the lush grounds, how quiet it is even when it's busy, the food selection at the food court....love it all. :)

we'll love where ever we end up..I'm sure of it. I just can't wait for December to get here. I think I'll be as excited as the kids for Christmas this year.

Are all the moderates about the same as far as being someplace the kids would like and getting to the theme parks (esp. MK).

Thanks again!

Ya gotta love the CSR. Big open spaces makes for a real relaxing time just walking around. It was very quiet and I didn't hear too much noise at night. The pool is awesome and so is the Pepper Market.

For locations, we like the CBR. It is centrally located near the MK and Epcot (you can see the Epcot nightime fireworks well from the resort actually!) and if those are your two favorite parks, I like that one.

It is very tropical themed and lovely. My kids like the slide there the best (ages 7 and 4). However, this resort if very spread out so if you don't like walking much with little ones and stay here, request a room in Aruba (acroos the bridge by the main pool and food court, etc.)

Or pay the extra few dollars for a preferred room, which will put you in the complex near the main building. We did that last January, and stayed in Martinique building, which was an excellent location for us.

We are trying the POR this time in June fo a change, I will be glad to share that experience when I get back if that helps!

You said you might not swim, but I think I like POFQ the best because they (lifeguards) let me go down the slide with my daughter together, no where else has allowed that.

We have stayed at CSR, POR and CBR all with young ones. I think the plus for POFQ is the small size, but we don't want to have to go to POR for the sit down restaurant and all the amenities. CSR was very manageable and they loved the pool, playground etc. But I really think our favorite with them younger is POR. It has everything we needed, the tighter footprint made it very manageable, the food court worked out great, and the amenities are nice. Loved having the quiet pools for quick swims, never had a transportation problem (they are the most central resorts) Very relaxed southern charm atmosphere that was very inviting for families with young children. Kinda the Tom Sawyer feel to it. CBR was way too much work and our least favorite of the moderates. After once at their food court, we drove to POR to eat.
