What is your favorite resort? Here's your chance to weigh in.
There'll be four polls, one for each category of resort. Then next week I'll take the highest vote-getters and ask what your overall favorite is!
This one is for the Moderates, so let's hear your thoughts!

I have not yet stayed at CSR, but have stayed at the other three mods. There are things I love about each one: the grounds and the quiet pools at POR, the size and quaintness of POFQ, the lush tropical feeling at CBR. But my favorite is POFQ.

Since I've only stayed at CBR and had a wonderful time, I voted for that.

CSR...for it's lush landscaping, quiet pools, fountains and the quietness of the resort

POFQ gets my vote. I love the fact that is so small, everything is just a close walk away. The food court is also small, but it's not that busy which is great. It's also much more quite then the other moderate resorts.

We've stayed at Coronado & POFQ. I voted for Coronado. It's a beautiful resort with one of Disney's best pools. Actually, I would rate CSR ahead of several deluxes we've stayed at.

Port Orleans Riverside. We have stayed at CBR and POR. We have toured POFQ. Have not had a chance to check out CSR yet. We like Riverside because there is shade and lots of room. We are from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and are used to wide open spaces. POR allows us to relax when we are out of the parks.

I have only stayed at POR and I was really impressed with it, was much more than I excpected. Next year we are staying at POFQ and hope with love it as much as POR.

Hands down, CBR!! I love the tropical theming and efficiency of mousekeeping. And it also holds a few magical memories for me, too. :goodvibes

Definitely CSR!! No shared buses, most deluxe amenities, great food options and the best pool/slide combo.

POR- beautiful landscaping, fun fishing pond for children & adults, great cm's, quiet pools are really quiet, boatrights stuffed french toast, the boat to DTD, the sea racers are fun to take to DTD, the horse & carriage ride, the atmostphere, the piano man in the bar, the walk (or bike ride) around the property including POFQ, the pool, AB holds families of 5, mansion style rooms are romantic... yeah I think this one might be my favorite mod!!! :lmao:

We stayed at:
CSR, POR and visited POFQ (will be staying in 2008)

From 1-3 my Favorites:
1. POFQ-Charming and small (loved the Ironwork Railings and colors)
Eventhough I visit the real New Orleans once a year the Resort Buildings at POFQ makeme think of The Aristocats Movie.
Only thing I wish this Resort had it's own TS Restaurant--but it not to far to Boatwrights at POR.
Great Hot Tub that is not right next to Main Pool (so not as many Kids in it)
This resort also ranks High in the list of best hotels in Orlando on
TripAdviser site.

2.POR--Lush and Very Pretty (there's almost a tie for 1st)
Also have a very good CS and TS restaurant.
We stayed in the Mansions section and Loved it.
Very Gone with the Wind feel.

Loved the Boat to DTD (what a Plus).
I also Grew up in Louisiana and was not board at all with the Theme of
POR or POFQ and we go back home to visit once a year.
You wouldn't go wrong by choosing either of the PO Resorts.

3 CSR--was nice in its own way (not Quant and Charming at Above Resorts)
The Main pool area makes this resort special. Southwest colors are very nice.

Still I am hesitant to try CBR (I don't know Why?) I scares me and
I think that I will be really disappointed compared to other MODs.

Of the four moderates, we have only stayed at the CBR. We've stayed there twice and both times for 10 days. Loved everything about our visits:

1) Tropical theming,

2) Steel drum music, w

3) Wide variety of foods to choose from at the food court,

4) Quiet pool for each village,

5) Beach for each village,

6) Renting surrey bikes and watermice at the marina;

7) Watching the fireworks from the hammock on the beach;

8) Shopping in the large store;

9) Central location so it never takes long to get to any Disney destination;

10) Check in/out was very efficient;

11) Castmembers and mousekeeping were really good.

I would not hestiate to recommend the CBR to anyone heading down to Disney World.

We have stayed at CBR, POR and CSR with CBR being our favorite, followed closely by POR. We did not care for CSR.

Denise

When we left the convention, DH and I were so ready for some peace and quiet. POR was just the ticket!!!! We felt like we'd found a little piece of heaven.

CBR hands down! CSR was too big and too stuffy for us.

POR was nice, but not as "friendly" I guess as CBR. Duller colors, food court wasn't that great.

POFQ was really pretty but we have yet to stay here b/c I was not impressed with the food court or lack of sit down restaurant..
