Favorite Moderate for Christmas?

We have stayed at every moderate and we have enjoyed them all (some more than others). But This is our first non summer trip and I want to know which resort has the best Christmas decor,music, and the best theme at Christmas time??

We've only stayed at the CSR at the holidays (this past December) and it was beautiful. When are you planning on going? If you are going anywhere around the first week of December (through that first weekend of December 7 and 8), I would find out which of the moderate resorts are having the Pop Warner kids. We were there during Pop Warner and it was brutal. I still love CSR, but I would NEVER stay there or any other resort that the Pop Warner people are going to be at again. I didn't want to take any chances this year, so we rented points and are staying DVC to avoid the issue.

It's on my Disney bucket list to stay at Christmastime at Wilderness Lodge.

WL is a deluxe.

CSR seems like the best of the mods for Christmas.

We are planning on going the week after thanksgiving. Will all of the decorations be up at the resorts by then? Coronado is my first pick so I'm glad to hear its beautiful at Christmas! (trust me if budget wasn't an issue this trip we would be at WL!)

The week after Thanksgiving is when Pop Warner is if I'm not mistaken. I'd doublecheck to see where they are staying.

There are some Christmas photos of CSR in the unofficial CSR thread and some in my TR if you want to take peek.

Have you looked into renting points at one of the DVC resorts? That is what we are doing and the price wasn't much more than what it would have cost to stay at CSR, but definitely cheaper than deluxe.
